Spot on. Big Club have yet to play 4 clubs who are still below them in the relegation dogfight. No fine imposed plus they can deal in the Summer window and go into next season with a clean slate. The last thing the EFL want is a relegation caused by a penalty points deduction with probable law suits to follow, hence it's 9 and not 12 points deducted. If the points deduction had been deferred until the start of next season it would have impacted negatively on transfer dealings in the summer. Only Big Club themselves can mess up this favourable treatment.

I can't help but think Rodwell is just a fair weather friend. I think Dacks level is with us in the Championship, I doubt he would go for much more than £5 mil anyway.

Rothwell either can't or won't be assimilated into a Mowbraybot. The difficulty arrives when Rothwell gets on the pitch and looks a player, Mowbray is then reduced to slagging him off in public, and those who have seen him play with their own "eyes" find this a bit odd. I hope Rothwell retains his flair even if it means he has to move to a more enlightened manager.
