  1. Can't help but think a certain "blogger" will be filling his boots.
  2. The "cleansed" version. I wonder if the LT will edit theirs. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/march/defensive-mistakes-are-killing-us/
  3. Monday has 4 years and most of his select group have 2 years left on their newish contracts. I cannot visualize Venkys paying them out. We are done up like a kipper.
  4. We had got back into the game, scored and were getting on top, Raya makes 2 appalling clearances in quick succession and Rotherham get going again and score. Then the rot sets in. Get rid of the hazard Raya. Some on here we after a new keeper and CB, plus others, 2 years ago. Nothing's changed apart from wasting millions on a never will be in Bre'rabbit. My God we are rank poor.
  5. I wonder what tactics the select group have chosen to start with today. Rotherham will start quick.
  6. Rotherham boss Paul Warne" "They haven't been on their best run recently but they have a couple of players coming back," "People might think that, on paper, this is one of the easier fixtures we have left, as opposed to Sheffield United away or Norwich City at home, but it doesn't always work out like that. "If we don't get a win on Saturday I will be disappointed but if we draw and no-one around us in the table wins then it's a point gained. "We're really going after the three points because we could pull a couple of teams back towards us a little bit."
  7. That's my recollection too. He got his payoff. Shit floats.
  8. Did Saxton bring in Ian Miller? He certainly sped up the development of Barker and Patterson.
  9. Quite brilliant. Thank you. Any chance of doing one with Bobby Saxton?
  10. Bolton are in such a mess, now owing money to the Police and their own players. Meanwhile the takeover drags on. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47416176
  11. But, but, but the Rotherham fans are going to suck their long throw-ins all over New York. We will win 2-1
  12. My Dad, Blackburn lad and Rovers through and through, from whom I caught the Rovers bug as a young kid and certainly by 1960 as I recall us in the Cup, said Finney was the best complete footballer he had ever seen. I never saw Finney play myself but Dad said he could play in any position and very good at every facet of the game.
  13. We have been blessed with some class players over the years. Makes for very nostalgic reading. I hope that we are turning away from a low point in our players history. I doubt that I will remember many of the current crop in a few years from now, if I'm still around.
  14. Got to bed around 5 am here after watching this great ODI, records galore. I really thought the Indies would do it even after Gayle's fantastic knock. A pleasure to watch and managed 6 hours kip. I now like the "Salute"
  15. Be fair, he watches videos when enjoying biscuits.
  16. Monday blames the players for deciding upon the tactics for the crap start and claims credit for the change. I really could not make that up. I try to read as little as possible of Mowbray's pressers but it hard to avoid at times.
  17. Can we have a Poll. How many give a fuck? Simple poll, yes/no.
  18. There will be a lot of Chicken on the menu.
  19. The Teleprinter, now those were the days ?
  20. When he sticks to football, music and nostalgia he is a good read. Not when he behaves like an "agent provocateur" in parts of his blog and around this MB, at times.
  21. On data, no cable where I am at present, so it's 7 mps. OK not great but streams and other apps have good picture quality and not much buffering. Watched Indies v England on a superb stream and same quality via an app made by some Indian guy. Watched Burnley v Spurs yesterday, great stream. YouTube is fantastic quality. IFollow was only just about watchable, although sound and vid seemed in sync. Not yet tried settings but will for the Rotherham game. To my layman's eye iFollow seems under powered.
  22. My Samsung Mobile did not get on with the iFollow app, the wife's did albeit poorly. Anyway I got myself a new Vivo and match pass for the Big Club game. The game was watchable BUT picture always a bit blurred, constant buffering, sometimes for long periods. Put it this way I finished watching my "live" transmission a full 20 minutes after the actual game ended. I watch a lot of football and cricket via streams and apps and even on my aged Samsung the quality of video etc is miles ahead of what the iFollow app provided on a new powerful mobile with ok internet speed. I cannot watch iFollow live games via a browser using an Android phone, it is not possible, you have to use the app. I hope quality improves for the likes of me in more remote regions, not currently City based.
