  1. It was a shot cum cross that was on target that we failed completely to defend, that covers a host of our players who were asleep including Raya. Nothing freaky about it, we created it!
  2. The equaliser came from a stupid free kick conceeded by a very tired Smallwood, defence non reactive and Raya made to look stupid. A poor goal which we gave to them. Previously Williams was AWOL for the first Ipswich goal. Ipswich deserved a point. Edwards mullered our left side a class act, thought he played like an improved Armstrong. Dom tried hard but ffs, Nuttall same. Why did take Dack off? He was not amused.
  3. A matchday pass is not available for today v Ipswich. The game is live on loads of international tv.
  4. Live on international TV For the rest of us Search and Ye Shall Find. http://m.livesoccertv.com/match/3039339/ipswich-town-vs-blackburn-rovers/
  5. I would rather wallpaper my shithouse with our crap home home shirts
  6. Promotional with Rovers name in yellow ffs, I will follow branding changes with interest after this years home kit abortion.
  7. I have bookmarked that link to review at the closure of the windows. TM quite clear on his intentions so let's see how it pans out. Fingers crossed we end up with a very competitive squad to challenge for mid table at least.
  8. Good post. Item 3: If we have an average or poor season as a team but individuals perform well, let's use Dack and Lenihan as examples, then they may well move on. If we go down there will be mass exodus plus the loans. Huddersfield had a well thought out plan using loans and it worked but only just, helped by Fulham imploding. I don't know but suspect their approach kept them out of the clutches of FFP if the promotion attempt had failed? I am coming around to having good quality in attacking areas via loans.
  9. Your post was the first I knew about this. Who was the original proposed sponsor and why did they pull out? Any idea? Maybe they just did not fancy our washed out blue, like me. I agree that Waggot's team did well to get a replacement prior to the season start but wonder if we sold cheap to achieve that or that awful shirt was just to accomodate 10Bet. It's all in the detail.
  10. The EFL excelling in their full time job working for the PL in trying to ensure only 'approved' big clubs or any club from London get promoted. Cardiff must have pissed them off big time. It's a slow process and will take up to 5 years more. The PL 1 & 2, 1 up 1 down, no relegation from PL 2 or on a member vote basis. If you're not in the loop you're in the poop. Harvey wants to boss PL 2 and get the full monty tv exposure financial bonanza. When international markets are fully penetrated one solution is to increase the product range, works well in the less informed guillible markets.
  11. Indeed. QPR are now expected to be very active in the transfer market in this window. QPR are the moral winners with a reduced and amortised fine. The EFL are well paid leeches.
  12. I suspect that the EFL wanted out of the dispute and got QPR to name the terms. The EFL make up and change their rules and punishments on a whim. If the in-season FFP punishments come about it will be interesting to see how they are applied as the EFL in tow with the PL strive to make the Championship into the PL2. It will not be fair of that I am sure.
  13. The QPR link provided by JHR works fine for me. The level of fine now payable by QPR is less than half the original. The EFL expenses a completely separate matter. Does anyone know what happens to such 'fines' apart from paying for Shaun Harvey's annual bonus, car and lunch expenses a/c. If it is put back into 'football' no doubt detailed accounting is available...........
  14. I watched a post match vid on Youtube from Toffee TV, the speaker scathing of many Everton players and saying they still needed improvement 'all over the field' and said their Manager had also said more players were needed now. I hope they do not fancy a punt on Dack!
  15. The awful shirt could only be made to look worse by the wearing of dark socks so that is exactly what the fashion philistines do. I am convinced that the late kit release was to accomodate the late arrival of a sponsor and logo with pale blue finally chosen to suit the logo. I expect similar as long as 10 bet are sponsors. The colour change is nothing to do with paying respect to Rovers history, which those who favour the new blue are manipulating anyway. They tried and got away with that con in the Birdy episode. After that? They are capable of anything ... Venkys colours, who knows.
  16. Everton looked really good in their home kit. I was wondering when if ever Everton have played at Ewood in their Everton blue. I suppose they may have done years ago when colour clashes were not such a concern, pre TV. I wonder if Everton will switch their home colours to a washed out pissy pale blue. Maybe they will not as it is their history and brand image. For those who say pale blue is our history well so is all white and also navy blue and white halves if you go back far enough. We have used pale blue and white halves 9 times in our history which includes 2 under Venkys. Royal blue and white halves are our historical colors despite what others try to persuade.
  17. I saw it on Sky first and the LT about an hour later, both via the Newsnow site
  18. Good point! The LT say 'closing in' on the deal
  19. Great signing. We play well and beat Everton. And the 3rd piece of good news is: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/16380703.former-agent-of-ex-rovers-boss-steve-kean-loses-12million-tax-battle-hmrc/ What a bloody good day.
  20. I seem to recall that 'pulling out' was known as the 'Indian method'..... I don't think it was about shopping for players though.
  21. I had to Google 'Netto' ...... a service I normally use for players that are linked to Rovers as I don't know who the hell they are.
  22. They have the SkyLeeds TV Inc. Ltd. Corpn......... income to rely on too, every friggin season
  23. Thanks for posting those links. The full interview with Radio Lancs: https://audioboom.com/posts/6868591-rovers-head-coach-tony-mowbray-is-back-from-india-following-a-meeting-with-the-club-owners-venkys No mention of doing an Oliver or of asking for less!
  24. To be clear I am looking for his quotes to see what was said. I recall him saying he wanted to keep the owners ambitions in check or words to that effect but not about turning down a bigger transfer budget offer. He may or may not, I don't know.
