Our Greg Fraudton will tell the new manager he has to start him cos it’s making him look bad. -

It’s a forum revolving on opinions. Otherwise just shut the thread completely. Some people think the line up is odd. Some don’t. But if you don’t say what you think when it’s announced what’s the point of this board? -
The armed forces used to be able to get free tickets for Ewood, as did some parts of the NHS in the area. Not sure if that's still the case.
-
They did, but Luton then equalised and threw it away in 60 seconds so it’s a bit of a moot point in the end

This current, ongoing Man United implosion under Ten Hag, who they all thought was some kind of messiah when he went there, is wonderful viewing.

You need only a few of the turnstiles open near the JW/BBE corner open. Everyone enters from there. Therefore you dont need the lads and lasses behind the other set of turnstiles. You only need half the catering outlets open. The line "the staffing of that area remains the same whether the stand is at capacity or accommodating fewer than 500 supporters. " simply won't be true. It may well be you still need a significant percentage, but it doesn't need to remain the same. Therefore he's lying again. He's arrogant and smug so won't admit he's made a mistake here, but I just hope deep down he acknowledges he's knocked 1000+ off the gate.

Absolute bollocks. You simply wouldn't expect a lower home attendance against a Championship club in round 3 than you got against a league two club in the first round, especially on the back of an almost record victory in round 2. They surely anticipated an attendance similar or slightly above what we got against Walsall, but to say as much now shows how absolutely stupid the decision was. The fact that they started reducing their apparent 'anticipated attendance' the closer it got to the game tells us all we need to know. Again, if they just come out and said "We thought it made financial sense but we were wrong. It was a one-off and won't happen again" you'd just file it and move on. But he is just bullshitting on expected numbers to try and justify the decision.

Anyone have any idea of when Ennis / Leonard are expected back? I know Gally is at least November and Hedges next year. -
Summer Window - Rating /10
Hasta replied to roversfan99's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I didn't put a rating on this at the time as I simply didn't know. But it's looking pretty grim. Probably about 3 or 4. Siggurdson appears good but is the direct replacement for Brereton and his goals. Moran also looks like he should be an upgrade on some previous loanees. However we were warned about Ennis injury record, and to be honest we have yet to see him at all. He could be amazing, but if he only is available for less than half the games then it's a poor bit of recruitment. Our final pieces of the jigsaw seem to be unable to get into the side despite us having deficiencies in all areas - keeper, defence, defensive midfield and up front. JDT has seen all of them up close in training and their fleeting appearances and seems to rate Wahlsted, Tronstad and Telalovic as bench-warmers only. That is therefore a major fail by the recruitment team, who to be fair were completely shafted by the budget shifts. -

We got what we ultimately deserved for our defending, but wish the ref had been eagle-eyed on shitty shirt-pulls all game First goal. -

I still can’t get over we have no strikers and a keeper that is making mistakes almost every game, and yet two of our summer recruits don’t get selected. How bad must JDT think Telalovic is if he can’t get in in these circumstances. -
There’s a lad on the Wednesday forum who is adamant his mate is in the background of that photo, and yet didn’t go to the game on Friday night. His mate has contacted both Wednesday and the police.

The offside one was strange. He looked clearly onside and VAR never showed the lines. Sky said they hadn’t been provided the image at half time.

My one and only visit was at the start of the 93/94 season. We won 2-1 having been a goal down. All I really remember was the terracing was miles from the pitch behind the goals. -

I'd turn the big screen off. There's only 4000 or 5000 fans going. We don't actually need the big screen. Somebody has to be paid to update the content and it takes up electricity. It's not essential. I'd not bother with it tomorrow night. Also I'd not bother with corporate hospitality. They won't be full. If those people just sit in the Jack Walker and buy a burger and a white wine from the concourse think how much we can save on staff in the corporate boxes for this game. I mean, surely they aren't bothered where they sit as long as they can watch the match so there is huge savings to be made there. -
Remember we proudly refused more lucrative gambling sponsorship on grounds of morals, whilst signing up with a vaping company that even EA Sports refuses to allow to be displayed on shirts in its games.
-
You are correct, but that doesn’t take away from how abysmally terrible Sheff United are here. I need 1 Sheff United shot on target and 1 Sheff United corner here for a decent pick up, and the only way that happens is if they shoot from one of their kick offs and the keeper has to tip it over.
-
Put the ratings thing up. I want to allocate my first ever 1.

I mean, for that second goal it’s a carbon copy of the Millwall situation. The defender clearly has it covered but Pears comes out, only this time we see that he actually can’t deal with a standard long ball properly. Even then, his balance is shite as when the guy shoots he just falls over. For the third it’s a through ball from 10 yards inside their own half. This time it should be a simple claim for him to pick it up at the edge of his box, but he’s nowhere to be seen and Hirst doesn’t reach it till it’s about 14 yards from goal.
-
Piss weak defensively, especially in the defensive midfield positions. And a keeper who is totally unreliable and has been at fault for 2 and maybe could have done better with the other.
-
Pears hell-bent on proving all those people who said he wasn't at fault for that goal at Millwall complete and utter fools.
