We got what we ultimately deserved for our defending, but wish the ref had been eagle-eyed on shitty shirt-pulls all game First goal. -

I still can’t get over we have no strikers and a keeper that is making mistakes almost every game, and yet two of our summer recruits don’t get selected. How bad must JDT think Telalovic is if he can’t get in in these circumstances. -
There’s a lad on the Wednesday forum who is adamant his mate is in the background of that photo, and yet didn’t go to the game on Friday night. His mate has contacted both Wednesday and the police.

The offside one was strange. He looked clearly onside and VAR never showed the lines. Sky said they hadn’t been provided the image at half time.

My one and only visit was at the start of the 93/94 season. We won 2-1 having been a goal down. All I really remember was the terracing was miles from the pitch behind the goals. -

I'd turn the big screen off. There's only 4000 or 5000 fans going. We don't actually need the big screen. Somebody has to be paid to update the content and it takes up electricity. It's not essential. I'd not bother with it tomorrow night. Also I'd not bother with corporate hospitality. They won't be full. If those people just sit in the Jack Walker and buy a burger and a white wine from the concourse think how much we can save on staff in the corporate boxes for this game. I mean, surely they aren't bothered where they sit as long as they can watch the match so there is huge savings to be made there. -
Remember we proudly refused more lucrative gambling sponsorship on grounds of morals, whilst signing up with a vaping company that even EA Sports refuses to allow to be displayed on shirts in its games.

You are correct, but that doesn’t take away from how abysmally terrible Sheff United are here. I need 1 Sheff United shot on target and 1 Sheff United corner here for a decent pick up, and the only way that happens is if they shoot from one of their kick offs and the keeper has to tip it over.

Put the ratings thing up. I want to allocate my first ever 1.

I mean, for that second goal it’s a carbon copy of the Millwall situation. The defender clearly has it covered but Pears comes out, only this time we see that he actually can’t deal with a standard long ball properly. Even then, his balance is shite as when the guy shoots he just falls over. For the third it’s a through ball from 10 yards inside their own half. This time it should be a simple claim for him to pick it up at the edge of his box, but he’s nowhere to be seen and Hirst doesn’t reach it till it’s about 14 yards from goal.
-
Piss weak defensively, especially in the defensive midfield positions. And a keeper who is totally unreliable and has been at fault for 2 and maybe could have done better with the other.
-
Pears hell-bent on proving all those people who said he wasn't at fault for that goal at Millwall complete and utter fools.
-
And does he accept this is a possibility? Does he even acknowledge all it will do is annoy existing customers?

Not one Rovers player complains. He just boots him. -

JDT's actions speak louder than words. We desperately needed a goal and another striker last night and he didn't fancy him. -

Last night clearly tells me JDT has looked at Telalovic over the 2 weeks he's been here and has him 5th on the striking pecking order. When people say "No signing is made without JDT's approval" I'm starting to doubt if that is fully the case. I suspect it was a case of "you either take this guy or nothing" approaching deadline week. -

Dodgy as in it’s a stupid one to give away. It’s one of the clearest penalties we will see this season. When the ref gave it, the reaction of the Rovers players said it all. -

That’s a common comment from fans of teams we play at Ewood. Everyone can’t underperform, it has to be something we are doing right. We tend to carve out a load of good possession and get in good positions and dominate long spells of games but can’t score. Rarely do teams look better than us at Ewood. We just struggle to turn it into results. Away from home we can be absolutely terrible though. -

Who are you telling to wake up and smell the coffee? Is there any poster who sounds like they are disagreeing with you? -

We missed a bucket load of chances and they scored from a daft penalty, a keeping error and giving the ball away at the back. It shows why we won’t be challenging this year, but watching it I don’t think you’d expect Sunderland to be top 6 either. -

Exactly. We lost our shape and our way when we made the 3 substitutions and went without a recognised striker on the pitch. This despite Greg’s outcome to our summer striker search being sat on the bench. We were clearly the better side with our first 11 but as ever couldn’t take out chances. People are saying Wharton was bad because he wasn’t very good, but Garrett looked leagues below when he came on. -
