  1. Den, I'd like to see a list of "solid" premiership strikers who lit the top flight up before 21. Even when Bellamy was Derbs' age he was only scoring 6 in 34 for Coventry. I know he's not a striker, but wasn't Beckham even going on loan when he was Derbs' age? (The interesting thing is that I'm trying to think of Premiership strikers who are with the club they came up with and am having trouble.)
  2. Why, did Australia have a scarcity of both cats and dogs before this?
  3. You mean another "First Blood" movie....
  4. After what I've been reading, I'm sure no one on here has ever chosen a job because it pays either more than their current one, or pays best of all the jobs they have been offered...
  5. We found little doggie gloves were good when our guy hurt his paw...
  6. From Paul's post on page 105, it says "JW stated to BRISA the average revenue per seat over a season was £13." Is that per seat filled, or per seat in the stadium? If it's based on the average of 7-8,000 empty seats per match (or so it seems) then I'd believe it.
  7. That's rich, considering how often you abuse other posters and call them idiots....
  8. ITS GREAT HAVING YOUR G/F DAUGHTER WORK AT THE CINEMA HEE HEE..went and watched deja vu.....going onto one of phls points if you could go back in time and kill hitler and bin laden before threy got going ,how many lives could be saved.
  9. I've read (maybe here?) that Brum has an option on Dunn's contract for next season, so he technically doesn't have only 6 months left if the exercise it. That being said, anything over 750k is still too much.
  10. Can't forget the biggest Leafs tradition of all... Bitching and moaning that the world is against you. Actually, that's kinda like Rovers fans as well...
  11. What, like Thursday night football? A whole 2 months old. Or College Football almost every night of the week? Television is changing sports schedules everywhere and attendance dips will follow.
  12. On the airplane a few weeks back I had the pleasure of seeing "Little Miss Sunshine." One of the best films I've seen in years. I laughed, I cried. Very quirky and cute, with some great characters and great actors.
  13. You talking about the new stadium or the old one?
  14. So glad that we didn't play Lucas, his lack of commitment wouldn't have allowed us to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool today. Oh wait, he did play and his professionalism helped us get 3 points...
  15. And Sturrock is a genius. Curbishly did great at Charlton with limited resources, look at where they are now. This is not a club that should have spent that long in the top flight while he was there, considering resources and personnel. Right now you have an underperforming team who has hired a manager that gets the most out of his players.
  16. Hey RF, welcome. Sometimes visitor to your site to follow the progress of Marcus and Convey (I think my screenname is AmericanRovers). Was glad to see you go up last season, good luck staying up (though not at our expense).
  17. I know you have a man crush on him, but no was is Totti one of the top 100 of all times.
  18. Last I read was that he couldn't sign with anyone until the summer due to his age...
  19. 2 and 3. I'd have to say that if the halves don't happen on the away this time, the club will just use this as a reasoning never to do it (well, we tried back in '07, but the fans didn't want it).
  20. 3-1 us. They just don't seem consistent enough, so I expect FFC to disappoint after such a good result earlier this week.
