  1. Here's our team for tonight's game against Norway Gordon Alexander Weir Pressley Webster Fletcher Ferguson McNamara McFadden Hartley Miller
  2. I think Quashie is out injured, not sure who would replace him though. Thought Heartley played well on Saturday against the Italians.
  3. Quite looking forward to Wednesday's game. Since Walter Smith took over there's been a wave of optimism and having watched the Scot-Italy game, we're playing much much better, and a draw against the Italians is pretty darn good. I reckon we'd have got stuffed if the German numpty was still in charge. Although I don't think we'll qualify this time, left things a bit too late, it'll all be about the Euro 2008 qualifers.
  4. Would be happy for a draw, although much could depend if Bellamy is back and how well the loan signings gel with the rest of the team.
  5. Good post, like the SOS reasoning As for my prediction, could be a tight game and Rovers will definitely have their hands full with Baros and Phillips upfront. Our confidence will be much higher thanks to the Fulham result so hopeful of a better game from us, especially if Tugay plays and Pederson keep sto form. Either a draw or we'll nick it with another wonder goal! :rovers:
  6. Has Shearer got his UEFA Coaching badges already then?
  7. Can't believe it, positive reporting about us http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,286-1745041,00.html
  8. Saying that, it sounds as if he's expecting to get the sack
  9. Home win, but will be tight. Hoping for a fit Nelsen to play and Bellamy to bag a goal (or two)
  10. First game of the season, was hoping for the good start, but nope. Hammered on the first day of the season, will definitely give up a very big boot up the bum, and should instill a good improvement for Saturday's game, which is a must win. Hope that Nelsen and any potential signings come in soon.
  11. If he can get over the Espanyol game, then he could be useful. Didn't he bang in a few goals in preseason?
  12. Just seen this on LET, shows how close he came to packing it in! http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/lancashi...rt/ROVERS1.html
  13. £300,000!!! Christ! How long does the current deal last? Maybe having Orange, as the rumours were, would've been better!
  14. Now that's it not far off, all the pundits will be giving us their predictions but Gary Lineker actually predicts us to have good season, or at least build on what we did last year. Be interesting to hear what the rest of them say http://sport.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jh...07/ixfooty.html
  15. Good preview. Season is almost upon us - woohoo! I think it could be a case of first game nerves and will be a draw, although I'm hoping that Rovers may nick it.
  16. Now that's the kind of remarks about Rovers I like. Although I reckon you'll never see that kind of reporting in any of the Red Top comics or by most of the TV pundits either. If we play well, without being "dirty" this coming season, and if Wenger, Benitez, RFW & Mourinho don't cry about us, I wonder if we'll shake off that tag of being dirty.
  17. We'll find out on Wednesday as they'll be discussing it then. He'll prob be a Rovers player the follwing week
  18. The 15 year old probably deserved it, but Barton definitely has some anger issues to deal with.
  19. Mark Hughes looking forward to a good season from Kuqi *fingers crossed* http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/News/Stor..._583388,00.html
  20. The Funkateers 1: Cech 2: Terry © 3: Nelsen 4: King 5: Naysmith 6: Gamst Pedersen 7: Fabregas 8: Makelele 9: McFadden 10: Bellamy 11: Reyes Subs 12: Robinson 13: Southgate 14: Inamoto 15: Sheringham
  21. So in the long term it could be safe to say that the Mancs are gonna be shafted?!
  22. They keep saying about Bellamy's lack of ambition, (like it's some kind of broken record) but it shows how GREAT Blackburn's ambition is in acquiring a player of Bellamy's talent, and where Hughes wants to go with the club. Relegation battle my arse. Obviously I want Blackburn to qualify for Europe next year, even moreso if it's to ram it down the throats of the whinging Celtic fans.
  23. Apparently he had NO CHOICE but to get rid of both Bellamy & Robert to save the barcodes. http://breakingnews.iol.ie/sport/story.asp...773720&t=soccer
