  1. That's certainly not how I feel. Keep posting ..
  2. Question begged...Why and how TF did Fielder get through the door, let alone get his sweaty feet under the table?
  3. Too right. I remember watching "Sunderland Till I Die" and cringing at that slimy CEO, Martin Bain. I couldn't help thinking of Paul Senior.. Then there is Paul "You're playing with the big boys now " Agnew! Not to mention the litany of other crooks, no-marks and clowns, bequeathed by this toxic ownership.
  4. Well, we should not be so desperate for the money this summer, as we are likely to get a wedge from the Raya sale?
  5. ditto Steve Kean, Jimmy Savile, Boris Johnson, Richard Madeley...
  6. Saw both of those games...Great days out! The Millwall match saw a "bumbling" Rovers (The Guardian-after recent poor form) get into the play offs, only to go out with a whimper against Chelsea.... The Plymouth game, however, saw a real recovery in form and confidence, which propelled us all the way through the play offs.. This doesn't feel like Speedie et al. It just doesn't...
  7. Since PNE were last in the top flight, it has been graced by the likes of Carlisle, Wigan, Oldham, Bradford, Barnsley, Notts County, Swindon, Millwall, Charlton.. Now there's a project for ya...
  8. Gutted for my lads, who came up from London. Gutted for all those, who watched. I decided not to put myself through it. No TV. No radio. Went for a walk with my better half and turned on the car radio...when it was safely full time. I am still fuming. God knows how I would be, if I had actually watched. Tottenham have the word "Spursy" for being pathetic bottlers. We need one of our own. And I used to think Spiral was only a French serial...
  9. I was wondering the same thing. I'll nail my colours etc. I just hope it is something very bad... There...said it!
  10. Abysmal, but we did have good chances-after the substitutions from memory..
  11. I was certainly gutted at the end of the Sheffield game. However, within a few hours I found myself thinking it was the best outcome-out with honour and a good vibe between team and fans, as opposed to an expensive trip to Wembley for (only) a semi final and a probable hammering from Man City. Two games and an international break later, all the good feeling and optimism seems to have been erased by two poor performances. There were boos yesterday! The thing is we all knew last August that we needed another striker and a midfield player and, of course, that was even more urgent in January. It looks like another opportunity sabotaged- off the field. The manager may even walk on account of that. Our terrible goal difference means that any of the chasing pack only need to get level with Rovers to overtake us. A poor performance at resurgent Huddersfield will confirm my own pessimism about a play off place. The finger of blame will point at the club's administrators and probably the owners too, as this looks like a pattern of failing to back the team in a promotion challenge.
  12. Let down by the transfer window "errors"-absolutely! They said the same on Radio Lancs and JDT has alluded to it more than once. If we do miss out, the blame will be deafening.
  13. I was watching on a continually buffering stream, but even that couldn't hide the fact that much of our possession was in our own half/final third even. 71% possession? Where is Fr Merrin, when we need him?
