  1. Fife: Yes, of course. I'm just so sick and tired of the conspiracy theories, especially the ones who involve a player who's done his best in every single match for several years for this club. As for Morten is god, please stop post stuff like that, you're not being fun and you're not being constructive.
  2. He can't win, that's for sure. If he gets booked and is suspended for the Liverpool match, it's because he doesn't want to beat his next club. At the same time, people moan about him not giving his all against his next club, before the game is played.
  3. No way man. It took five minutes to dig up some "insider", it took six minutes to have ten people jumping on the R.I.P bandwagon.
  4. Yeah, or for the rest of his career.. drama queens!
  5. Yes he will. And deservedly so.. Nonda's had a few matches not worth remembering, and after watching Dickov and Kuqi for a season or so we're used to hardworking strikers with little skill. Come on, give the man some time to adjust - he's used to very different leagues in France and Italy, and has been injured a lot. He's not useless, but has had a tough time adjusting - whether that's his own fault or partly someone else's is another discussion..
  6. That's right, Unsal. Too bad he didn't like it in England, he had a classy left foot.
  7. You just contradicted yourself, big head doesn't rhyme with banker. Neither does "best defender right-left-central in the league behind Gallas", so I'll just have to disagree with you.
  8. It's good to finally see some sensible and pleasant supporters of other clubs on this board. Good luck with the rest of the season, and more importantly - the next season. Establish yourselves as a 10-12th placed team and you should be happy, you will then get your chance to climb up towards Europe. As for us.. I am fully confident we've got good enough players to end up where we ended last season, we just have to get that run going. And if possible, give McCarthy the strike partner he deserves.. To add to that - I've now fully understood what a great signing David Bentley was. Yes he can be erratic at times, but he's still very young, and the crossing, shooting and overall techniqual abilities are top top stuff. Keep it up, David, and you'll be an England international in a few years.
  9. Check Footytube, Stella, there's a link on page twelve or thirteen..
  10. Bentley's too Fantastic effort, that footytube-link certainly gave us some much-needed credit ! Benni's a legend btw, his comments are always pure class!
  11. Just have to say, the latest Bob Dylan album is absolutely magnificent.
  12. Lens or Panathinaikos for the 16 - let's all go to Greece!
  13. Please not draw us against CSKA Moscow - Maccabi Haifa in the 16..
  14. Anyone getting the live video from uefa.com? Too many of you are logged on.. Good to see they are drawing both the last 32 and last 16 today, wasn't aware of that..
  15. Livorno offers tough competition, a world class striker in Lucarelli and probably a fiery atmosphere. They play the Russian national song before kick-off, I take it Eddie's coming then? No Tel Aviv please.
  16. Okay, so it's third place teams only? Liberec it is then At this point: Zulte Waregem, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Fenerbahce, (Feyenoord) Lens, Besiktas, Slovan Liberec, Auxerre..
  17. Osasuna winning their match, I would not mind a trip to Spain at all!
  18. I stuck to beer, and thought the song was absolutely magnificent
  19. I don't think they have a red light district, Dan..
  20. I'm guessing Pamplona. When's the draw tomorrow?
  21. "You're not from New York City, you're from Rotherham, so get off the bandwagon........"
  22. I actually agree with Theno, even though I've been wandering from one side to the other for a few weeks regarding Lucas. I think it's sad that people take exception to his little "word" with the fans last night, he shouldn't have done it though. If it was up to me, I would give him a good applause in the next match, at least he would know we didn't all want him to leave. He's a good player who's done very well for our club - and as theno and others mention - at least we've known for a while we're going to have to replace him. Good luck for Rovers, I hope we get decent dosh for you if you leave. If he leaves, he'll just be another opponent though..
  23. Doesn't track back, doesn't score, looks uninterested - as if he was playing for the only club willing to pay enough at the time of the transfer? Would take him back in a flash, I don't see how much worse he can become in three months.
