You shouldn't be dejected; you played some great, lovely fluid football tonight. I think you'll have a good season with JDT steering. -
Mathematically you can reach the automatic promotion places; so don't rule yourselves out for the play-offs with so much to play for, not to mention the return of your hotshots.

Seriously Matty, what size bracket would you put your club into these days? The way I see it is you have the giants like Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal etc, and then you have the big clubs like Birmingham City, West Brom, Southampton, Sunderland etc. Then you have medium clubs like Burnley, Ipswich, Hull etc. Then you have small clubs like blackburn, Wigan, Barnsley etc. Small than that you're into the 'minnows' like Rochdale, Accrington, Blackpool etc.

PNE have a Norwegian branch supporters club too. Can I ask Alex if it is common place for Norwegian football fans to adopt small English clubs like rovers and PNE?

Horrible, sickening behaviour. Hope he makes a full recovery.

No no no. That's not the reason. The reason is because your club suddenly had fans from all over the north, even in towns that had their own professional club, like Preston for instance. These new supporters; many new to live football thanks to the marketing of Sky (a whole new ball game), suddenly had a club localish to them that were dining at the top table and easily accessible. These new supporters were the ones branded 'plastic' by PNE fans. It was fairly easy to determine whether or not the wearer of your replica kit was a 'plastic' or not upon meeting them: and that was to ask if they knew what a Perspex top was. Incidentally, do any of the other local clubs call you the Plastics? Nice to be back by the way. T

A perfectly tied fly, I would say. Got two on one cast.

Lol, I predicted we would have a good season, but it's way too early to get excited yet. It would be good for the city if its football club sampled top tier football again, but as a small club we can't complain with top 10 in the second tier. I think it great small clubs from non league earning their way into the football league and doing well.

I think the Championship's Preston North End are the Grim Reaper of football managers.

Look at my avatar.

It's much much better nowadays; it's got a good PvE aspect to it with not only the infected after you, but also packs of wolves. Atmospherics are fantastic, and if you like to immerse yourself, you'll definitely like what they've done. FPS is much improved too, although the latest patch has made it stutter in towns, it's still many times smoother than it was years back. Shooting is still a grind, unlike in Arma where you could headshot at a click away with ease, but then that's the idea in making it truly hardcore survival. Give it another try and let me know what you think.

Used to love playing Kick Off 2: damn we used to have tournies in a mate's flat, which were good fun. Sensible Soccer was nice and fluid, but lacked something Kick Off 2 had; or maybe it was halcyon bias. Anyone of you lot play DayZ? Decent zombie survival game which is hard work and a bit of a grind. If you like the 'jingle jangle jewellery' of COD or Battlefield, then it's not for you. If you like hardcore and time intensive, then you'll love it....until you die and lose all your gear you've scavenged.
