  1. I don't think so. Why not go for the young upcoming star who is too naive to stear clear?
  2. Yeah and Hughes should go too. In fact Reid has been nothing but rubbish in every start he's had in the last 16 months - he can go too. Form is temporary, class is permament. Unfortunately in MGP's case his form is pemanently crap.
  3. Seems there is a similar incident every year at the United christmas party. Funnily enough O'Shea is never involved
  4. Ha Ha - probably a good idea
  5. What has Derbyshire done to earn legend status then?
  6. His "overall" performances? Sorry I must be thinking of a different McCarthy to the one that scored 24 times last season.
  7. Well said Hughesy - my thoughts exactly!
  8. He didn't - wasn't it Gary Neville who organised it?
  9. No doubt this is just another gold digger trying to get money out of a young footballer.
  10. You are very much wrong. He might be off form, but he's still got 8 this season. He's a class act. How anyone can suggest the cons outweigh the benefits I do not know.
  11. Whilst being way short of brilliant - it was at least progress in the right direction.
  12. I bet he has a brilliant game tonight - just got a feeling.
  13. Do Gloucester FC play with bigger goalposts than the rest of the football world then?
  14. I think the fact that the two centre backs looked like they'd just had their own Christmas party in the 12 hours leading up to the game was the main factor. Both Nelsen and Samba looked Pi$$ed at times during that first half.
  15. Assistant manager at Coventry City - so he'll be back at Ewood soon - maybe as caretaker manager if Dowie quits due to administration?
  16. Taylor should have been brilliant. He's was touted as a future England centre-half, that BBC article from years ago had him the England team to win Euro 2008 along with Dunn. Tall and very fast, good on the ball - but he was poor in the air for someone of his size, and lacked that killer instinct to make him a good centre half. Average at best unfortunately.
  17. How to Fold a T-Shirt Many of us men struggle with folding clothes - choosing just to throw them down on the floor. This little guide will help you understand how to fold a shirt - and enable you to become a better man as a result
  18. Surely Defoe - although competition would be immense.
  19. ...or 32 in 63 starts. It's a phenomenal record.
  20. James Beattie was on a skysports show the other day (not sure what it was called, Chris Kamara was on it) - and when asked who his hero was - he said Simon Garner.
  21. Bottom of the League Well I've never seen this before. Apparantly we've a fully fit squad - and sit proudly at the bottom of the injuries table. Touch Wood.
  22. Hodgson for England? Has done well with his last two International jobs in fairness. I like the fact that he won't say he's interested or not. It annoys me when people like Alan Curbishley rule themselves out - when I wouldn't have thought they'd even be on a shortlist.
  23. Yeah the timing is odd in my opinion.
  24. Celtic: Lee Naylor Rangers: Ugo Ehiogu Man Utd: Scholes Ferdinand Brown Simpson Carrick Rooney Neville Foster Hargraves Eagles Chelsea: Lampard J.Cole A.Cole Bridge Sidwell Wright-Phillips Terry Liverpool: Carragher Gerrard Crouch Pennant Arsenal Walcott Struggling now though
  25. Skysports News annouced our team included "Nelson" and "Pederson" when they put the starting elevens on screen before Sundays game. Suppose they can be excused when some people can't even spell Bentley.
