100% agreed. Tronstad will be having to do the job of two men over the coming weeks unless an experienced Championship reinforcement comes in. As a result he is guaranteed to break down. A decent CM with pedigree of this league is surely a must but the penny pinchers won't see it like that.

Indeed. This Baradji lad better be good and have the ability get fit. That being said, CM is the one area where a lack of Championship pedigree will bite us on the arse big time. IMO.

Who cares who we sign. It’ll be more foreign players untested in this league, on much less wages than we’ve been paying seasoned pros from this league. This latest journey is gonna fall flat on its arse.

I felt like his one real chance of cracking it with us was in the near miss of the play-offs under JDT when he was becoming a regular and playing really well. He then got injured and just never seemed to get back in on a regular basis from the following season. Good luck to the lad. As an aside I’m sure his bank manager will be delighted!

Agreed. It must be a pretty miserable place to ply your trade at the moment. All your mates have left, any decent players and managers have fled the building at the first opportunity, others are blatantly leaving, there are no new contracts for performing players. etc. etc. Two things stand out to me. Firstly, a severe lack of Championship experience throughout the squad. These new boys are going to be like fish out of water in a dog fight IMO. And secondly, Travis aside, two key players of our first 11 are 100% going next summer (if not before. three if you count Hedges - ha). Put yourselves in their shoes - they both probably have one good move left in them to set themselves up for the immediate years after football. Will they be giving 100%, going into the 50/50s with the same conviction as before? I highly doubt it. We're relying on kids, players with no experience in this league and mainstays who won't be giving 100%. Trying not to be reactionary following two poor performances (and results), but I will be stunned if we're not in and around the bottom 5 come Christmas.

Cue the ‘Trav is a snake’ comments from our ‘fans’ over the coming hours. I don’t think the start of this season could be going much worse. We’re looking certainties for a relegation battle.

My prediction is this place will be simmering come Saturday evening.

That’s the only silver lining if this poor start continues. There will be no where to hide for that rat.
