A point closer to the trap door following Oxford’s 2-1 win over Ipswich. -

A Baradji, Forshaw, Montgomery midfield is enough to make me feel misty eyed about the days of Akpan and Lowe. -
It’s his job for as long as he wants it. Out of all of the managers under this lot he smells the most like being the one to really ride that Venky’s gravy train. As for Suhail and Rudy, what’s not to like with Val? He’s content when you sell your best players and bring in random foreigners as cheap replacements. And most importantly, he never digs you out or name drops in the media even when you’re on a terrible run and getting a small grilling yourself.

Ipswich flying at the moment too where as we can’t even draw a match at Ewood let alone win one. I feel like a loss there - irrespective of tomorrows result - could have another huge impact psychologically, especially with our excuse culture. -
It’s the (continued) muddled thinking that’s perhaps the most bonkers aspect with those ‘running’ the club. We only gave Ribeiro a new deal, what, 6 months ago? He’s now seemingly not part of our plans whatsoever. He hardly set the new season on fire, but one suspects it’s wage related. We then give Cantwell the captaincy just prior to the first ball being kicked this season just a couple of months ago. Again, call me (and many others) ever suspicious, but he’s clearly being marked for the exit door. Pointing out the obvious but they make things up on a whim dependent on how they feel on a particular day. Working under this lot must be utter torture for the average sane person.

The irony of Ismael bemoaning the loss of Tronstad last night. The same guy who we're seemingly happy to just see go for free at the end of the season as he's (probably) close to, or above the ridiculous wage cap that we have. Hickman/Montgomery is a sign of things to come in that department as we have clearly seen they cannot identify and sign a decent central midfielder if their lives depended on it.

Delighted and pleasantly surprised with both the performance and win last night. I really want to try to be more positive but it’s just so frustrating seeing us play like that with some fantastic individual performances knowing that the club will just sabotage any progression at the first opportunity. Take Tronstad for example: phenomenal last night. Yet seemingly the club are just content for him to leave for free in the summer. Cantwell too, no doubt off. Under any normal ownership there would be many reasons for optimism. -

Pickering has never let us down at LCB before to my memory. And has great experience at this level - something we sorely lack. -

Why on earth Pickering isn’t at LCB (again) can only be for one of two reasons: he’s pissed off Pasha & Rudy (Team Eustace) or he’s over the wage threshold. Either way it’s a ridiculous decision. -

Ismael’s PR excuses for not bringing in another centre half are very insulting to the fans who have half a brain. -
Todd Cantwell - is he off?

Harry Pickering out for similar reasons I’d wager (we’ll find out on that one tomorrow). -

That's Cantwell off, as many of us suspected. As for Carter, f*ck me. We've finally found a player who surpasses Grella as an all timer sicknote. But final mention to the masterminds that are Venkys, Pasha and Rudy. The decision to sell Hyam on the final day of the window without bringing in a replacement. I'm just speechless. -

I think it was Glen who mentioned in the summer that they were looking to get rid of him due to his high wages. Then came the captaincy which surprised everyone. But here we are. If he’s still ‘injured’ tomorrow then I think we all know he won’t play again before being shipped off in January. Cantwell for Henriksson. Jesus wept. -

All the evidence points to there being two consistent goals across their God-awful rein: cut costs and line the pockets of 'agents'. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
G Somerset Rover replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I’ve long thought our best bet of ridding ourselves of this lot is to have a sustained campaign against Suhail. Whenever the spotlight has been on him he’s absolutely detested it. I’m guessing it’s come down to a lack of funding from the few Rovers’ brave enough to fight the cause, but unless it’s consistent and persistent, it’s not going to be enough. -

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Rochina looked like the penny had finally dropped and he'd be a world beater on the first day of the season back in 2013(?) - he then dislocated his shoulder in the same match and just never seemed to really kick on. One of those who will surely look back on his career and think he could have got way more out of it - like Dunn has admitted about himself. Rochina's natural ability was unreal. -

And yet some do not believe that particular 'agents' still have their noses firmly in the Venky's trough.
