  1. Surely there is now no doubt that Broughton joins JDT through the exit door. Whether it was his fault or not, he cannot survive this given his interview last year.
  2. There ain’t no chance in hell that Venky’s are shelling out relative big bucks on any deal - let alone a pre contract agreement. Yet more nonsense from the club.
  3. 100%. He’s always wanted to play league one football.
  4. The club love an announcement late in the day. Guessing because they spend most of it chasing the idiots in Pune for sign off.
  5. Mike Sheron LOL TBF it will be either him, Johnson, or God forbid Lowe if it is internal. Remember, they wouldn’t fork out £500k on McGuire. The new man will be cheap as chips - either out of work or currently in a role with Rovers already.
  6. 100%. "Swift action". Don't make me laugh. They haven't got anything right over the course of 13 years, let alone when they need to act decisively. It's either an internal promotion i.e. Johnson, or some desperado that Suhail/Waggott have got on board. All aboard the train to League 1.
  7. This slime ball is the epitome of everything that is wrong under Venky’s reign.
  8. Funny how Suhail wasn’t there - the only man who has Venky’s ear. Tells you all you need to know about the owners and their inability to actually give the slightest toss. Another dark day as a Rovers fan. Guessing more fun and games tomorrow which will likely bring JDT’s news.
  9. Not that you can blame them, but the body language of the players looks terrible in that clip. The old "what on earth am I doing here" vibe.
  10. He’s always been good with us. Hopefully he can help to highlight our plight once again, in addition to putting focus on the shower of shit we have owning us.
  11. 100%. It doesn't matter who the man is in the dug-out. All that matters now is cranking up the heat on those see you next Tuesday's thousands of miles away.
  12. Just been offline for an hour or two and logged on to this. There is no normal day in the life of a Rover under these rats.
  13. Well Waggott out would be a pretty good start, should it happen. He's been on the gravy train for far, far too long. We can then turn all our attention to Suhail and the owners.
  14. If the Indian courts say no, or delay it again, I’m guessing we could have seen a similar situation to that of Reading where the EFL have told their owner to fund the club or sell it. Given Venky’s cannot fund us (should the courts say no, or delay), surely they’ll be told at some point, sell up.* *from what I’ve read the Reading owner hasn’t listened to a word of what the EFL have told him, as I suspect the Venky’s wouldn’t.
  15. The club would have us believe that they had Homer fucking Simpson behind that keyboard on the night, which is why it won’t have gone through. Nothing to do with the owners or Suhail though, never.
  16. Pointing out the obvious, but as you say, the Newcastle game is 100% where our focus needs to be. BBC 1, against a big club, probably shown globally too. Good chance to get Lineker, Shearer etc. speaking about it too.
  17. Three times, no? O'brien, McGuire and Brierley? Edit: Smiller beat me to it.
  18. I'll put any money I have on that we won't even bother attempting to sort a deal with Orlando for the summer. Like you say, chances are we will be in league one. Not to mention the fact that our owners won't be signing anyone who isn't either a free transfer or a loan. These sewer rats need kicking out of Ewood/Pune with a king sized rocket shoved right up their backsides.
  19. So if my memory serves me correctly, he was posing as a signing pre-11pm with photos etc., yet we still hadn't sent off all documentation by this time? We make a circus seem tame in comparison.
  20. If Venkys continue digging their heels in then we can only hope that the hearings continue to go badly (for Venkys). We won't have another Wharton to sell come the summer. It'll be c. £8m for Szmodics at best I reckon (what is he, 29?). Carter £5m? What then? You'd like to think the penny could finally be dropping for them, but I appreciate we've all said this for many years.
  21. I am so pleased you’ve highlighted this ‘lh’ chap from Twitter. My God, the plonker is from a different universe. I read through some of his tweet last night and nearly lobbed my phone out of the window. ‘Fantastic owners, Waggott is good at his job’ etc. Must be fabulous to live in his head.
  22. No chance we keep a clean sheet. Or if we’re honest, actually win!
  23. Yeah, we are up against it, that’s for sure. Chap called ‘Roverseas’ with a big Rovers following on Twitter did a poll earlier asking who is at fault for the last 7 days and therefore should leave: Waggott, GB or JDT. I responded saying where on earth are Venky’s and he said ‘well they’re not going anywhere so what’s the point.’ Or words to that effect. Real head in the sand approach being adopted by many which really isn’t helping the cause (not to mention the aforementioned idiots).
  24. Not according to a tonne of ‘em I’ve seen on Twitter tonight. There is A LOT out in force defending Venky’s. ’Didn’t hear from any of them (the fans) last season when things were good.’ ‘£5m for Hyam and Szmodics last season alone’ ‘they sold the training ground just to stop us from going into admin’. Just a few of the comments I’ve seen tonight.
