Pasha does not have a clue about football, that is quite apparent. i believe after all the talk about Wharton leaving for relative peanuts in this day and age, he thinks he’s doing the fans a favour and asking for more cash. he won’t know that Wharton is destined for big things and to be fair Leonard is probably heading towards his level. let him go and build a decent career and get a new striker in the door.

Our issue is we are always going to stand still or move backwards. We always replace our better players with several loans or freebies. kaminski - Pears/Toth/Wahlstead Szmodics - Ohashi/Gueye/Dennis BBD - Telalovic Wharton - have we even replaced him?

What do we do in training, seriously? Time after time we aimlessly chip it up the pitch with no real clue what to do. Our attacking players are league 1 standard and are all painfully slow. January was the chance to really kick on but again we scraped the barrel with unwanted journeymen. i don’t think VI can come back from this, genuinely think the writing is on the role for him already.

I’m forcing myself to the game today and I don’t think I’ve really felt like that before. It feels inevitable. Start slow, no real attacking threat. I can’t believe people want Warnock…..he started getting found out 5/6 years ago. Football has changed massively since he was last successful. O’Neill, Cooper and Edwards would be more suited to the position we are in (obviously in my opinion). I would rather keep Lowe than many that that been mentioned.

Not one quote from that interview points to him staying in my opinion. The questions now are who next? Who’s going to realistically take it after the last 2 managers give up on SW and Venkys. Also, what next for us as fans? How can we keep going with this shit week after week, year after year? There’s an air of inevitability about the situation.

I think that’s the frustration. Boro have sold players but they have reinvested a decent chunk on good players. You see Sunderland, Burnley and even Hull all going for it. Not one of our signings so far improves the starting 11. Hardly improve the squad. Kargbo I haven’t seen but he is likely going to need a month to settle in. It’s blatant there is zero ambition anymore. We are only getting players that are unwanted and no one else is in the market for. Groundhog Day!!!!!

Seems like we may miss out on Danns due to others offering better deals but have been offered James McDonnell instead. Haven’t seen him play tbh.

Has anyone heard Barlaser mentioned from Boro? Someone mentioned him last week and today it sounds like Boro open to offers. Not the striker we need so just add to the mythical list we seem to be forming.

Looks like Middlesbrough (who are in a similar position to us) are selling Latte Lath for £18m. Does anyone believe he will be replaced by an unknown striker with a goal record of 1 in 5? They’ve also got Conway, Forss and Burgzorg.

Football is in a totally different place now though. WBA spent a decent amount of cash back then too.

When I saw Sigurdssons you tube clips prior to him joining he was a totally different player. Constantly beating players and looked quick. He hasn’t done that at all. I think there’s a top player in there and it maybe down to confidence. Hopefully he gets in a groove and smashes a few in early doors.
