v Coventry City (h) - 21/01/25

At least 8 points needed from 18 matches. Taken 5 from the last 8 and the squad is decimated with reinforcements very unlikely to appear. -
I was stunned to see them rearrange the fixture to a date earlier than the original date. Waggott obviously doing his best to sabotage this season .
-
Rangers have no money. That's why they haven't sacked the manager yet as they can't afford the compensation for the long contract he signed in the summer. They are in a world of financial problems.
-
Relying on rivals' results won't be enough. Statistically need about 74 points to have a decent chance of being in the playoffs. That means from the remaining 19 matches another 32 points are needed such as 9 wins, 5 draws and just 5 defeats. Aint going to happen.

Personal guarantee required for all remittances. Venkys now require the club to be "self-sufficient" so shrinking the losses means downsizing and relentless cuts to the wage bill. They have no interest in promotion and after 14 years of failure they've given up.
-
Probably find that new West Brom manager decides to keep Wallace.
-
"Frank Lampard's Coventry City". Presenters just can't help themselves.
-
If there are 59 cases to be heard earlier in the day before ours then another adjournment is a foregone conclusion.
-
Forshaw was moved on from his last two clubs faster than shit off a shovel.
-
Looks like John Fleck Mk2
-
Very likely and I can't see Luton going for a foreign coach.
-
And take them down!
-
Thats what Waggott will say.
-
I suspect they would be content with a relegation as the wage bill comes right down and the losses IN L1 reduce to the norm of about £5m for the bigger clubs in that league. Absolutely no guarantee that a relegation gets rid.
-
He's no better than Mcfadzean and has a recent injury record to rival Gallagher. Would be a disastrous signing.
-
Gallagher managed 49 minutes yesterday before being substituted..... injured (again).
-
Waggott will be disappointed that the objective of dropping to L1 to reduce the losses has been frustrated this season by Eustace's over-achievement. Losing valuable players out of contract is just further evidence that this is Venkys objective.

Yes, Howard Kendall's team that missed promotion to the top division on goal difference. -

Suspect he never will be for this level. Powder puff finishing again and a terrible first touch ended a promising attack. Needs to be sent out on loan and a better striker brought in. Won't happen of course. -

Another virtually pointless festive period of fixtures. Heading towards midtable in the New Year. So predictable. -

Venkys are interested only in cutting costs. End of. -
Collector's item... Sam Gallagher appeared for 20 minutes. That's more than an hour in total so far this season!

An absolutely dreadful match to watch. Seen more football in the local park on a Sunday morning. Hoofball is the only description and it went on for 98 sodding minutes. Poor substitutions that lost whatever little control and outlets Rovers had in the match. Dolan absolutely dreadful and won't be missed next season. Weiman and Hedges powder-puff defending. Pickering is an injury waiting to happen. Travis hamstrung by an early booking from a poor ref and then later literally hamstrung. Far too much space given away to the flanks and a goal felt inevitable from the number of crosses they were allowed to put in. Gueye put in a lot of effort but most of the time doesn't know what he's trying to do. Cantwell looked like a ming vase in the middle of a stampede.
