  1. Mcfadzean has been relegated 3 times from the Championship. Shortly to make it 4.
  2. An earlier post indicated he has concussion although that didn't seem to occur in the Swansea match. I'm finding Eustace economical with the truth when it comes to injuries. Always plays them down and then later lands a bombshell.
  3. Millwall were terrible and had no ambition. If we can't beat that - and created next to nothing - then I just don't see where another 10 points are coming from
  4. Their goal will come from a set piece. Defending was atrocious from the one corner they've had so far. Went right across the 6 yard box , fortunately no attacker got on the end of it. Won't get away with that very often.
  5. Sky red button commentary is as drab as the match .
  6. Travis out Fleck in. That worked well didn't it and probably no overall wage savings. Broughton is a pillock.
  7. Eustace has consistently underplayed injuries that soon turn out to be much worse. Is he just trying to keep the opponents guessing?
  8. Bit generous to say we have "knife fighters"! Moran comes equipped with a water pistol. And Walstedt has a supply of custard pies.
  9. With 11 still to play their max points is 46. However about 30 could well be enough depending on the points deduction for Forest and possibly more for Everton. At home they've got mostly fellow strugglers - including Forest in the final match - and midtable teams. Unlikely but certainly not impossible as it stands.
  10. We won't miss Hyam, Gally, Siggy or any of the loan players. Their combined impact has been minimal this season.
  11. It's probably AI-generated comments commissioned by Waggott
  12. There are just so many non-contributors in this squad. Good quality experienced players have been replaced by total inexperience. Telalovics, Wahlsted, Moran, Ayari, Ennis (since departed) Chrisene. NONE of those have looked anywhere near Championship standard. Occasional flashes don't cut it at this level. With the notable exception of Adam Wharton (not replaced) the players promoted from the club's own academy - Garrett, Leonard - are eitherjust not good enough or nowhere near ready.
  13. Perhaps this thread can be closed down after today's all too typical feeble flap in the air in the build-up to the first goal?
  14. The losses will be smaller in L1. And the remaining assets in the squad - Szmodics, Carter, Hyam (now I'm being generous) - can be cashed in . It might not have been planned but it it's a financial outcome that will not disturb Venkys.
  15. Is he playing? Never been mentioned in commentary.
  16. It appears this injury is related to the the twice-operated broken fibula. He had played for Sheff Utd for only a few minutes after his second op. It's a wasteful pointless signing that reflects very badly on Broughton and the medical team.
  17. I agree with this summary particularly the second paragraph. He stays rooted to his line from corners and that just invites problems.
  18. I very much doubt that the payments are related to the length of the contract given by the purchasing club. Are the clubs that sold players to Chelsea going to wait 8 years for their money? The length of contract and the payment schedule are two completely different things.
  19. If that's what Euston is going to serve up we might as well be relegated this season and save the pain of being next seasons Rotherham.
  20. I had thought that in recent media appearances he looked grey and drawn.
  21. It was described as an ankle injury. Given that he's fractured his fibula twice in the same place it might well be a recurrence. Signing a crock never works.
  22. It took the Indian authorities 10 years to discover and take action against the Cheshire mansion scam so how long is looking through the last 14 years of remittances likely to take? The club will be playing in the National League North before they reach a conclusion. The Indian legal/tax system makes the UK look a model of speed and efficiency.
