  1. Time for Tomasson to go otherwise relegation is nailed om. He clearly has no future at this club. But Venkys won't be able or willing to pay the compensation and Waggott /Broughton haven't the guts to make it happen. Desperately need experienced players to provide some organisation and backbone. Sadly that's not going to happen either.
  2. Won't want to come back here next season even if Tomasson is gone.
  3. He's right to be concerned about the remainder of the season and so should the fans. I struggle to see where 5 wins at least are coming from based on recent performances and a threadbare squad with only Szmodics as a regular goalscorer.
  4. The Indian authorities are notorious for moving at snails pace. It took them 10 years to identify the Neville mansion remittance scam. The club could be in the National League before they've concluded their investigations.
  5. His career track record shows him to be a football club undertaker. Charlton Coventry and Southend all heading to oblivion under his management before he rocked up here courtesy of his mate TM.
  6. Perhaps he's being lined up for a loan move. We can only hope as he contributes absolutely nothing.
  7. If that happens this season, relegation is a certainty. Doesn't mean it won't happen though....
  8. With us on L1 the way things are heading. Telalovic, Ennis and Leonard will also be better suited to that level.
  9. They could repay the loans from the banks if they've got a couple of hundred million sitting around but if they do then why did they take out loans in the first place. It's a mistake to assume that even "billionaires" have a cache of liquid assets.
  10. If they sell the club they'll have to repay the loans that have financed the club and if they can't repay, the assets they're secured on in India will be taken. They are stuck between a rock - continuing losses - and a hard place - losing assets in India. It was only ever a matter of time before this happened.
  11. This is worse than being in administration because at least then Venkys would have lost control. It's completely destructive to run any business in this way. But it could likely carry on for ages because we all know how slow both governments and tax authorities move to resolve anything.
  12. It's down to a 10 point cushion after resurgent Sheffield Wednesday trounced Hull today. Next home league match against Huddersfield is looking like a relegation 6 pointer.
  13. It's a project to get into L1 and cut the losses.
  14. The losses would be much less in L1 as all but the lowest paid players would leave. I suspect Venkys would be quite happy with that.
  15. Ennis is about 5 10 so he certainly isn't one of the smallest players in the league.
  16. Broughtons summer business has been exposed as utterly pants apart from Tronstad.
  17. The dreadful treatment of Travis strongly suggests he is being forced to the exit door to raise a few quid. Certainly cannot be explained for football reasons
  18. If we can't beat Rotherham at home the next season will be in L1. Having Brittain as a wide forward never works.
  19. Report says Rotherham outplayed Sunderland and unlucky not to win. As in the Prem, the teams at the bottom of the Championship have improved performances and results in recent weeks. I suspect many on here think that 3 points against Rotherham is a gimme. Think again. I don't see this patched up, inexperienced and often shambolic back four/keeperkeeping a clean sheet against this very direct Rotherham attack.
  20. John Eustace turned Birmingham from a shambles into a more than solid team.
  21. Just delusional to think that Cooper would take this job.
  22. If QPR maintain their improvement under new manager they could be coming to Ewood in early February within a few points. Mostof the other teams currently below us are already within 3 points.
