Even with sound finances Kaminski would still have been sold as he was understandably desperate to get an opportunity to play in the PL. -

Walstedt plays as if he's wearing oven gloves. Very little is caught so inevitably some clearances land with an opponent. He also lacks physical presence. Pears will be back between the sticks as abject as he is. -
Seems likely that Rooneys success at Derby may have been down to his assistant Rosenoir who has subsequently turned round Hull City.

Absolutely nobody looks like scoring except for Szmodics and even he is having to double up as a creator of chances. No threat at when there's a loose ball in the box. No threat at all from corners and free kicks. Not much good at taking pens either in recent times. It smells strongly of a relegation season. Won't be coming back this time. -

Terrible midfield. Will be overrun even more than usual. -

Perhaps he didn't change the keeper because he doesn't trust the replacement - with good reason on the evidence of the 4th goal. -

We also had a shit goalkeeper and a midfield that was overrun in the absence of Bryan Douglas. -

Lose £15m a season and hope that you can develop young players of value to sell and cover the losses. Every season. Its the economics of the madhouse. -

Lot of much bigger negatives too. Can't actually see where the next points are coming from. The pretty football will disappear with lack of confidence and reality setting in. Can see some humiliations on the horizon if Jdt doesn't change tack. But I suspect he's happy with all the plaudits from the media and is just now waiting for an exit door to open. -

Correction, more likely bottom 3. -

Except it doesn't look remotely like a team that will battle in the way that's needed to scrap for points. Incredibly soft defending/goalkeeping and not the personnel to just cross into the box and someone to be on the end of it. Will be bottom 3 by this time next week. Very worrying that Wahlstedt looks as feeble as Pears. -

Agree but it won't happen. Wouldn't come for the wages on offer here. Also blocks opportunities for young players. -
That looks a much more secure and balanced lineup
-
Is Waggot going to take a 15 %pay cut. That would save a lot more than closing the BBE.

Venky’s and Mr Shaikh - the supporter protest thread
alcd replied to OllieNO's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Relegation next season if not this. Venkys won't be bothered as a much lower wage bill means reduced losses and lots of players will be sold to enable the financial can to be kicked down the road. -
Dolan contributed nothing defensively on the left side so Ipswich ran riot down there particularly as Pickering was playing more central in a back three. Going forward his confidence is completely shot and he's just hiding most of the time.
-
The most difficult aspects of goalkeeping are dealing with high crosses and advancing out of the penalty area. Pears is hesitant and indecisive at both.
-
Ipswich goalkeeper made as many gaffes as Pears but didn't get punished for them. The incident referred to above was just the first of them.
-
Wharton is massively over hyped. He gives away possession far too often and in dangerous situations. The midfield is scarily wide open and is crying out for a no nonsense enforcer. Wharton would have to be the casualty. At the moment he often looks a stroppy teenager.
-
Looked wide open on our left flank. Pickering has no pace whatsoever and was torn to shreds in the second half.
-
Shot stopping is all that Pears can do. His judgment is hopeless and he has zero physical presence. That said we don't know how Walstedt looks in training... Be careful of what you wish for.

QPR, Rotherham, Swansea ,Sheff Wed and Plymouth are the only teams that are likely to finish below us. And even that depends on avoiding long term injuries to key players such as Hyam, Wharton and Szmodics as well getting a decent contribution from at least a couple of the summer signings. Not a comfortable position to be in at all. -

To be fair he was working under Venkys and the turds they've appointed to run the show. Like allowing most of the best players to leave on frees.
