God I hope Kipre is a goer. Exactly the player we need. as for the new keeper hopefully he starts well and builds his confidence. A good start will be massive for him.

New before he shot he’d miss that penalty. So did he. Fisher had a few dodgy moments. I remember a season or two back in ore season he started away at port vale and did or let a howler in. Trying not to be to judgemental , after all it’s the first game back and mainy a fitness exercise. I’m looking forward to seeing how Hilton does, only seem him twice at youth level but seemed better than what I’ve seen of fisher. Not fair to say that after a couple of games because I’ve seen fisher have good games at youth level. See what the second half brings with a different line up. So I saw glimpses of the PSG game last night , probably watched half an hour in total as I was in and out doing odd bits. PSG looked really classy, abit like when Man City play a lower half table team at home and they go a couple up and then coast. I always like to pick a team back just for my own entertainment based on very little, usually the underdog or north south divide etc . So my question is would people rather watch an all french final ( where there is a chance Lyon the underdog) could cause an upset or would people rather watch PSG v Bayern, more even , far more quality , the more glamorous tie if you will. I’d just be interested in people’s thoughts as I have found people who follow teams like rovers and my Wigan and Bolton fan friends mainly working class folk would pick the all french tie and back Lyon. Being surrounded by glory hunters where i live I.e the United Liverpool lot the people I asked prefer the glamour tie. just found it quite intresting as I have a very boring life ? many thoughts ?

No your not alone mate. I feel the same . I’d be excited about going to fleetwood for the pre season Friendly as it is a ground I haven’t been to. Looking when we play Wycombe and Preston away etc . Even some under 23 away games like ramsbottom and places I haven’t been .I didn’t even know when they were being released or even thought of it until your post . Normally it’s earmarked in my diary ready to get the holidays booked for said weekends. Maybe the way the season ended, the noise or lack of potential signings and knowing we won’t be attending the first game add to all this. I’m hoping once it kicks off I will feel differently, I know after we beat Bristol on the first game after lockdown my enthusiasm was as a strong as ever so I’m hoping for a good start and maybe get used to the situation rather than be frustrated by it

Yeah that cornet lad has a brilliant game but the play acting and the way he was falling over every time someone breathed in him was driving me mad. There were others but he stood out for his brilliant performance and play acting in equal measure
