  1. For me nyambe should start but tony has chosen to play a team that won the last game 5-0 so no problem for me keeping the same team. If we win or draw and play well fine. If JRC has a mare against a team I’m expecting to be defending against (hence why I would start nyambe and backed his decision last week) then he will deservedly get called out and criticised
  2. I know he divides opinion but I genuinely would give him away for free. Im sick of seeing him miss games , shine for Northern Ireland and then the few games he plays he is mediocre and have enough players to do the job he does as well , if not better , on a more consistent basis. He’s a wasted wage . Get rid
  3. Its the old gerrard lampard scholes debate again. It’s a difficult question and one that not only needs asking but answering. I think we have to get dack back in as soon as he is fit. How and where I don’t know depending on the teams performance before he returns. I do think like the old England debate it’s important to play the best team not the best players . I suppose we need to get dack fit and see how the sytem works with him in it and take it from there with my main point in mind
  4. Agreed. Yet if uncle jack asked after putting his money where his mouth is I’m sure sales wouldn’t even drop. Take note swaggott. With all much uncertainty everywhere and your massively unjustified salary your going to lose a lot of the core . Once that’s gone you have no heartbeat and we all know what happens after that
  5. I’d rather have the players on their toes worried they will lose there place if standards drop. Enough with the uncle Tony act. They should be thinking if he’s looking for better it won’t be me. Not I’m a guaranteed starter
  6. Ha god yeah we drew that. My bad ???‍♂️
  7. What about more recently the Jason Steele ball to emnes , whose touch was a thing a pure beauty before bamboozaling two Wigan defenders and slotting home for a well needed 1-0 win. regarding Buckley the first thing that made him stand out to me was the space he found himself in, the time he had on the call to pick the passes, he just made the game so easy with the time on the ball he had
  8. I’ve watched us lose to Leicester , Bournemouth and Newcastle, missed the Wycombe game because of work and I’m sorry to tell you all I will be watching this one so don’t listen to mercer and keep your cash in your pockets ?
  9. The skinny Tugay ? ? BUCKLEY eat a Turkish delight in all honesty I’ve seen him harass and win balls back the way travis does albeit in the youth set up. He is as good defensively as he is going forward. With his vision and passing ability he could play that role , however I think he’s better playing further forward like that unit Foden does ?
  10. Can’t listen at work but a brief summary would be appreciated or a link to listen later
  11. I’ve no doubt in my mind Buckley will be the first name on the team sheet within 18 months and the one we are desperate to keep hold of
  12. Well this helps my arguement that if the taps are turned off we need to give as many of the youth lads ( that are good enough) minutes in a season we won’t get promoted to find out who is good enough and get them as much experience as possible Ready for next to give us the best chance of survival, raising the price of our assets and going into a season as relatively prepared as possible in any scenario
  13. I’m going purely off if it’s a choice between one signing or a few loans. If things change where we can bring two or three signings in then my comment is obsolete. I’d rather play Wharton if we are bobbling around midtable , maybe give magloire a game etc and re asses in summer. If we’re “in the mix “ then get the right players on loan to get us over the line
  14. Going off what Tony has said I think we need to spend the lot on a decent left back, see where we are in the next window and then if we are looking like we can sustain a play off place , go to India , show them how vital it is we don’t blow our best chance, ask them to sign a cheque or two (as we all know they never refuse) and get the quality in on loan to push us to where we need to be, if we are still mid table and inconsistent then save the begging bowl for the summer window and give some youth a chance if anyone is ready to step up or wee with the willy we have
  15. That’s just it. I know exactly what we get from Evans. At least give him a chance . I can guarantee he won’t be worse . We need to move Evans on. He’s been here for ages, rarely scores, often injured, must be one of our top earners and at a time when we need all the freed up funds we can get and the plethora of players as you say we already have he needs to go . Davenport will not be any worse on a smaller wage , far more potential and resale value and will not be any worse on the pitch .
  16. Maybe it’s time for him to leave and for others to step up. He’s been a brilliant servant to the club and now , like everything in life, it’s his time to go. Especially if his wage gets a LB in
  17. Someone knock a compilation up and send it to forest and get our 7 million back before he turns into a pumpkin ?
  18. Agree with both of yours but would have davenport for evans
  19. I think it’s going to be the recently relegated and top end clubs of our division we are going to have to worry about pinching our players. No one as of yet shines Stand out premiership class yet at least
  20. I’m not Tony’s biggest fan but regardless of if he signed or not and I’m led to believe he didn’t , he has started him and got his just rewards. Can’t do anything but praise him for that
  21. I was joking she’s more a blue nun kind of girl
  22. I had a tenner on us so mercer if you could recommend a nice flavour of lambrini for the mrs that would be lovely ?
  23. Gutted be working and missing this ?
