I've got to admit every time I have seen Preston , Johnson has been the stand out player for them, admittedly that's two or three times a season and I haven't seen them at all this season.
-
Ask Stephen bywater how his debut went lol but no can't think of one we have given a debut to who has bombed I get your point and to be honest at this stage I'm past caring. The season is a complete write off. We've achieved safety and downed tools. Throw him in and see what happens. Keep this place ticking over either way if nothing else

What bazza said except the 4-1 scoreline is Bob on. If we do get an injury then he has to play and we either have another Travis situation (which I doubt) or we wreck a young lads confidence and mowbray puts himself in the firing line for leaving us short and we lose another derby and three points at home ( most likely scenario). If he has to play so be it but it's on Tony's head, that's why if we were to get an injury he would shoe horn any of the usual in there before giving Tyler a game, I'm convinced of it.

Me to -
My team would be Raya Trav Nyambe.Williams. Bell Bennett. Reed Rothwell. Dack. Armstrong Graham With Butterworth on for graham in the second half. If we're struggling down the right swap Reed and Travis over and if we struggle down the left throw biscuits at Tony for not sorting it out sooner

Summer Transfer Window 2019

I still think Robert huth would have come and made a massive difference until the end of the season. Where's chaddy to tell me that we don't need him now A proper defender and leader that can head a ball......for free . Glad we kept or powder dry though -
Manager or Players to blame?

Totally agree -
At this stage I'm all for giving him a go. Sink or swim but not against wigan in a must win derby. It would be nice to stop the rot and then at least we can give the young lads and Tony the benefit of the doubt but we can't continue losing and it's not the best environment to be putting a young untried lad at cb for his and our sakes
-
He is a good defender but he is very error prone. He needs a loan first. Can you imagine if he comes on or starts and costs us the game.
-
I honestly believe he would put Bennett,.Smallwood or Reed there before bringing magloire on. I hope the kid gets a game. He has alot of talent but I can't see Tony playing him. Wharton is far more ready for first team football imo but he's not here.

I will show my arse if he comes off the bench

And few packs of biscuits. If he's eating he can't be talking shite to the telegraph -
Manager or Players to blame?

Which position do you play ? When Tony asks don't tell him. You might get shoe horned into your preferred position that way . Tony's tombola. May the odds forever be in your favor? -
Manager or Players to blame?

Sadly in the vast majority of positions he does because he's failed to sign anybody worthy of taking there places. -
Those saying magloire should start can't have seen much of him. He isn't better than what we have and has a mistake in him, he just has the adage of potential. I wouldn't be playing him until we get this monkey off our back and certainly not in a local derby against Wigan. Imo Scott wharton was ready to be given a chance but he's out on loan. That annoyed me more than downing leaving

Summer Transfer Window 2019
Oldgregg86 replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Im just trying to be realistic in who would come, I.e he is effectively a championship goalkeeper in league one, would add competition to Raya without having the right to dislodge him from number 1, someone with experience who Raya could learn off and if Raya is having a dip of form he would be a steady pair of hands. I also like archer from millwall. Out the two I would have archer. Obviously there are better keepers out there but with our budget needed elsewhere I thought he would be a viable option and depending what he is paid Ipswich might want him off the books -

I'd love to see both sets of players just kick the shit out of him for a good few minutes. Maybe then idiots would think twice about approaching elite athletes and throwing punches. And I include the rovers fan that did it against burnley -
They would all walk into Bolton and Ipswich's squad with Bennett guaranteed a start every week. I'm sure reading Rotherham and millwall would take him as a squad player. But I get the point your making

My iniatial recations was that it was madness to sack a manager sat in 4th at such a crucial stage of the season. However if you look at it as rovers sat in 4th at this stage last season with our squad and budget, whilst I wouldn't advocate a change at this stage of the season, you can understand slightly why the WBA fans are annoyed albeit in a far more difficult league -

I'd be looking at the Ipswich goalkeeper bialkowski as real competition for raya -
I was thinking this earlier. Would be worth a punt even if it only mildly unsettled that lot
-
We've already got our very own bowyer with a nicer accent. We don't want or need another
-
I think some managers work well at certain clubs. I think moyes would do well for rovers and he's a far better manager than Tony but I would add rowett and strachan to, good shouts

Wagner, jokanovic, Hughes, Moyes, Nigel Pearson. There's 5 off the top of my head
