  1. I like Travis and never called him out before but yesterday he was abysmal
  2. Pickford james. Maguire. Stones. Shaw Rice. Bellingham Foden. Mount. Grealish Kane a fit Callum Wilson has to go aswell
  3. I’ll sacrifice entertainment for results all day long and if he gets us up playing this way I will hold my hands up. It’s not the entertainment (although a couple of shots a game would be nice) it’s the nature in the way we defend. I just don’t see it being sustainable to sit 10 men behind the ball in our half for 30 mins a game against better opposition and keep clean sheets. these 1-0 wins turn to draws and losses then what. We have unsuccessful, boring football which we have witnessed numerous times already away from home . It’s a fine line at the minute between success and massive failure and it makes me nervous but like I say up to know he’s got it right and I hope with a few additions the other side of our game develops into something more exciting and less dangerous.
  4. I’m assuming that’s a reference to the green hair and coat 😂
  5. I won’t have to worry to much as I probably won’t make it to the final whistle
  6. I’m not one for wholesale changes , especially when we have a month off but this isn’t any ordinary situation. Play the u12s if you have to
  7. Pears .JRC Mola. Carter Batty Buckley. Garrett markanday. Dack. Dolan vale
  8. It wouldn’t be as bad (not what I would do) if we had a 2 goal cushion and defended that but one goal is asking for trouble
  9. We missed out on that anel lad. Looks absolute quality. That ndyaiye (or whatever he’s called) also looks top draw at this level
  10. Anyone who has the capability of putting Steve kean and Steve waggott on mars is ok with me
  11. I thought Travis had the worst game he’s had in a rovers shirt. He was really poor today. A wins a win and aslong as they keep coming no complaints from me. I do echo a lot of what others are saying though . Huddersfield never looked like having a chance never mind scoring so to sit back at home and invite pressure is suicidal and it’s not the first or last time this season we are going to see us sit back and defend for life And we will be punished for it. To do it at home against the bottom of the league is disappointing and all the talk pre season of not passing for the sake of it, the Dutch disease, is on show for the majority of every game. im delighted we are where we are but I absolutely hate watching us play this way and if results turn I don’t think JDT will have much support from the fans . Anyway let’s get the dingles beat and then see where we are after the World Cup.
  12. We simply have to find a way to get the back line further forward. I watched city play Seville the other night. Two teams playing the same way with regards to playing out from the back. Seville looked like how we play . Panicking around the goalkeeper why city pressed “ with intensity”. Citys back line on the other hand , played almost on the half way line, the wing backs where bombing down the wings like prime 90s Rovers . The keeper was at the edge of the box after three passes with nothing to do and the rest of the team was already closing down Seville once a move broke down, in numbers, to start the next attack from Seville half. Seville mean while gave the ball away time and again Inviting pressure and chances and the keeper was rushed into hurried kicks and mistakes.
  13. We really need to break this Wigan hoodoo soon. It’s driving me mad 🤬
  14. I agree if this was his breakout season no one would be offering £20 million. Tbf no one is offering that now but I can’t agree with the rest. He’s easily one of the best forwards in the league
  15. Todays was David stockdale the Fulham and Birmingham keeper. He has an attitude like Christie, you just know he was a good lad and what he says is true . If you enjoyed the Malcom Christie one this one’s for you to. Talks a lot about how badly treated he was at Birmingham and it’s pretty appalling tbh the things the club did to him
  16. We won’t be able to get them but two signings of that quality would have me believe we would be actually pushing for promotion and not playing at it. We’re nearly there and so far away at the same time and two singings like that and a Morton replacement would leave us with a starting 11 that could compete for top six with expectations attached
  17. Haven’t seen enough of mola or Markanday really to be swayed either way. Guess time will give me a clearer opinion
  18. I’d like to see how good this batty and mola actually are before we get another back up left back to Pickering, a solid option at RB if Brittain isn’t firing or is injured would be good. Ideally I’d like a first team left back and Pickering as a solid rotation option. We also need a natural goalscorer . Someone who we confidently believe will piss 12 goals a season. I’d be happy with that in January as a starting point. Come summer Ben, Morton and dack will need replacing leaving massive holes (maybe Ayala) and we still need someone to replace pears as it will go pear shaped if kaminski gets injured
  19. I think Gallagher and hedges are two massive losses. We transform from a decent side to a pretty weak and inexperienced one without them
  20. I know i meant to get the coach
  21. We really need to learn to play in their half more and have a few more forward passes. When we lose it’s so boring to watch
  22. I can see what where trying to do but we are to slow and not slick enough to break the lines
