It’s abit odd that batty hasn’t had more game time or been on the bench when you consider how many people rave about him and the amount of youngsters getting a chance. I’d be interested to see what he could do particularly with the lack of depth on that side

The little I’ve seen of Sunderland , their striker stewart looked a decent player. It’s a big miss for them as he isn’t fit to play. I just hope whoever deputises for trav can step up to the plate and a few lads in the dressing room have an axe to grind from the previous regime we really should be beating these at home and we will 💪 COYB

I’m not writing him off just yet but regardless of the team we’ve played upto now he has done the basics wrong. At Wigan in particular he was so bad. Playing balls to slow, giving the ball away, not holding it up , there are some attributes to work with but at his age he really should be a more complete player to be playing at this level and he needs to improve dramatically to earn a place even on the bench at the minute

Even if JDT doesnt think dack fits the way he plays, which I find strange but is fine, I can’t see how when behind and needing a creative spark with 20 minutes to go he isn’t the first person you turn to. Regardless of what I would do if JDT doesn’t see him as a starter fine but how he hasn’t brought him on at games like Wigan earlier than he has makes me think there’s something more than he just doesn’t fancy him because despite JDT tactics at that point in the game he is the only person you would turn to

Sadly your right. I’m just hoping with his skill set and the right coaching he will become the player we need to take the ball on the pivot , create chances as well as do the defensive side, sadly something Travis hasn’t got the ability to do. Strangley when I was advocating for Travis to step up for the first team he could put a tackle in, but he could also run at defenders and seemed more diverse than his first team appearances seem. He’s decent at what hw does but I’m slightly disappointed with the way he hasn’t kicked on to be a more rounded midfielder

I think we all had higher hopes for sammy when he came in with the fee but he is a useful member of the squad . If you ignore the fee and expectation he is a good squad player although I know we are all disappointed he wasn’t the next dack

I must admit I really thought we would struggle to replace the three lads that left . I’m delighted with there replacements and think we are stronger overall with the lads that have come in. Topped with the fact Adam Wharton looks the real deal

So what kind of player is mola and how has he done overall. Do you think he could step up to the first team with ease ?

I know Gallagher isn’t prolific but if he had a run of games down the middle he would score goals. I thought 5 million was a lot at the time but I still believed he would be a good signing. I can’t believe how badly mismanaged his whole career has been since his original loan spell. Regardless of the fee now and I’ve no idea when his contract is up, he is still the best option we have up top and should be played there .
