  1. I think Alan Myers was the last person who gave half a shite whilst he was here. Since then it’s been holiday season for all
  2. Gray is a fantastic player and would undoubtedly improve Our first 11 but with his Burnley connection (I could forgive if he did the bisuness) homophobic tweets and all the Leon best vibes I’d rather we stayed away. It’s the first time i can remember saying a player who would walk into our team stay away but I just couldn’t cheer him or support him in anyway. He seem like an absolute prat and that’s being polite
  3. I’d try any of the u23s before offering Richard Keough a contract . Was average in his prime and terrible now
  4. I honestly believe with that right coaching he could be better than graham. I don’t think he will ever fulfill his potential here . He isn’t a world beater by any stretch of the imagination but he could be a useful tooL coached correctly. Like a poor mans Kevin Davies. Sadly we are Going to watch week in week out two players played out of position and be completely ineffective
  5. For now we have to get the coaches on Sam Gallagher and teach him to play with his back to goal and head a ball. If he could hold it up like graham did for the likes of chapman rothwell Dolan brereton dack and be on the box for crosses then we have a good 5 million striker ready as a replacement. Sadly I can’t see this happening and he will be stuck on the wing being ineffective while Dolan chases shadows through the middle
  6. Never mind Sam McQueen we need Steve McQueen this season
  7. I think it’s all down to the individual. Some benefit from the loan system others don’t. You could argue Wharton has gained valuable experience but I believe he would of cemented his place and improved more staying with rovers . Yet raya certainly be fitted from the loan system and so did we. Like I say it’s down to the individual if we’re they are at in there careers and how far they have progressed aswell as age/circumstances
  8. Having seen butterworth play quite a lot I had hopes of him breaking into the first team. Make no mistake the lad has talent. We could keep him around the first team and see how he does. If he doesn’t perform then loan him out for the rest of the season. However can anybody actually see Tony giving him enough of any game time to prove himself and then he’s getting towards 23 with hardly any first team experience. The biggest concern for me is the type of injury he’s got. Once you do your back it’s not going away. I’d suggest see what kind of squad we have by the end f the window and if it’s threadbare keep him and see how he gets on. If it has some depth and he isn’t going to play loan him , monitor his progress and see how he copes with his back with week in week out football and assess it on January or the end of the season. If he has the talent he will come back the way Wharton did and if he struggles lower down then he goes with all the others to lower league.
  9. I personally wouldn’t but I should imagine people have been in their years and are creatures of habit , people have made friends with people around them and have a social aspect to it. I’m sure there are many more reasons I’ve missed
  10. Wyke will be an excellent signing for Wigan . One the fans should be pleased with. He’s not good enough for us and I doubt we were ever really interested in him.
  11. How do you do that. I’ve got lateral flow tests at home but will they just believe it’s mine if i bring it from home. Sorry for the ignorance just no idea how it will work
  12. Do you have to bring your own or have one done at the ground. how does it work ?
  13. he should try the souness model. get rid of the holiday camp mentality, make players earn the shirt and buy players for specified roles and purposes to fit the system your playing. its not rocket science
  14. A poor mans Rudy. Would definitely need someone like Conway whipping the balls in. Dolan, nyambe, brereton , Gallagher Chapman in our system. He would just be isolated and someone to try and hold the ball up to get the three behind in play . He could be a long ball option from the bench I suppose but I would still hope we could do better than go from arma to wyke
  15. To young for that reference mate 😂 I’m assuming he wasn’t one of the greats
  16. Charlie wyke would be a dreadful signing. That really is preparing for league one football 😳
  17. I agree really nice that. Black and red with the Lancashire rose 🌹 on and it would be a seller
  18. They send a confirmation email with the option of printing the ticket off or collecting from the club shop on the day
  19. Just been on fyldes online sight and bought a ticket for the away end
  20. I understand that. Honestly I do . I just don’t expect to sign better quality than players like him. At least he’s tried and tested and not over the hill . Some of the dross that has signed over the last few years makes me relieved when it’s almost an uninspiring but safe bet
  21. Reach has always played well and stood out when I’ve watched him but it is concerning reading what the sheff Wednesday fans think of him who see him week in week out . Solid championship players and abit of experience wouldn’t be a bad signing if the contract length and wages were right. Nothing to get excited about but the bar is that low that I’d be happy with This one
  22. Would look nice on the players not so nice with my chippy tits poking through it
