Bell was, still is and alway will be league one player. He couldnt cross or stop crosses, had no positional awareness , wasn’t a good tackler, for all his pace wasn’t a good dribbler and couldn’t see a pass for love nor money, always turned back, always played safe, always looked to casual and got caught in possession. They can have him and he can get league one player of the season next year when luton get relegated

I know a kid who trains at Liverpool and United whose 8 . He could have done both. When he was younger means younger than he is now not than six. He could mean he’s played here with Liverpool . It doesn’t really matter. I’m not a fan of young loans but I might get this lads name on my shirt . Welcome young un -

John Buckley didn’t have his best game but he didn’t do anything of note good or bad really. I’m almost certain by the end of the season as long as he’s keeps playing he will have established himself as a starter and proved his doubters wrong. He needs time and patients and whilst I understand we are short of both he is worth persevering with -
v Millwall (a) 14/8/21

The first half was horrific . There is no fluidity between transitions, nobody seems to know there role and I don’t know who is more confused the team or Tony. The Dolan experiment worked against a suicidal Swansea. It will fail far more than it will work going forward. pickering looks every inch a league one player upto know, far from convincing, a slight upgrade on bell is no compliment. Hopefully he learns and grows with time. Certainly not a write off, but disappointing thus far. I enjoy shouting “ DIAZ DIAZ” and the circus he brings but looking solely at his game he is still far from convincing. He did a lot of gesticulating today and it was usually his fault. Poor runs, failed to beat anybody, created nothing, falling over and then out of nowhere excellent finish. In the second half Travis and Rothwell (who I’m suprised hasn’t been mentioned more) where our stand out players. Trav my MOM and Rothwell was excellent, great Crontrol of the ball, picking passes and getting us on the front foot , superb vision and awareness, and ability wise the best player in our squad by a mile. Carter put in a near perfect performance when he came on. Winning headers, tackles , good positioning. Simply must stay at Rovers this season and has put to bed once and for all the magloire/Carter debate. Gallagher worked tirelessly and really put a shift in against a bigger, stronger and all round specimen of a centre back Cooper (what a signing he would be for us and exactly what we lack) . He deserves praise for the way he handled himself today along with his work rate and willingness to put himself about. Harry Chapman . I’ve banged his drum since league ones He needs a chance, give him time, let him show us what he can do. Well sadly the star man has lost his twinkle and put in yet another poor showing in a Rovers shirt and I think that may be one to many. Whatever he had in league one with us and Shrewsbury he seems to have left there. A shadow of the player I was delighted we signed permanently. over all alot of things to learn from ( sadly we know Tony never does ) . A long hard season awaits. More of the first half and the boos will feel like a packed ewood again. More of the second and the fans will get behind a young , small team in a tough mans league. good result and as Tony would and probably has said. We put the point in the bag and move onto Wednesday -

Cake. the difference being a cake goes hard when it goes off and a biscuit goes soft. 😉 -
They should swap the prices around. Adults should be £8 and under 12s £30. My kids have more money than me 😂

Kit supplier and sponsor from 21/22
Oldgregg86 replied to alex l's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I call the club for almost everything these days but I’m struggling to understand anything but a fair play and well done for those three kits. I normally buy retro rovers shirts but I will be acquiring all three of these at some point . Well done macron 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 -
Brentford - everything we should be
Oldgregg86 replied to Mercer's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Brentford deservedly beat a poor Arsenal team. They reaction at the end was brilliant and why shouldn’t a club who haven’t been anywhere near the top division in my lifetime celebrate being back in the stadium and beating a top side (in a London derby ?) . Fair play to them. Fully deserve it. It might be a long hard season so enjoy it why you can . Banged a 20 on a Brentford win to so that’s millwall paid for . I just pray one day we see scenes like that back at rovers for any reason . COYB -
Souness on Rovers
Oldgregg86 replied to Trinidad Rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Was slightly to young to appreciate the title winning side but Souness and his team was by far the best and most entertaining side I have seen in my life time and will probably and sadly never be matched. Quite disrespectful comments I feel from you riverholmes. Will always be a rovers legend in my eyes -
Souness on Rovers
Oldgregg86 replied to Trinidad Rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I apologise profusely for taking such a positive thread slightly off but the whole time I was watching that I couldn’t help but notice how much Souness was struggling to remember players names , Not as a one off but all the way through he seem to struggle slightly more than your average person would with remembering things. Then the Tony parkes and heading a ball debate popped up towards the end and it just worried me slightly. Did anyone else notice this or is it all in my head ? -
Souness on Rovers
Oldgregg86 replied to Trinidad Rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
i wonder what souness's take on surrendering the league at charlton would be. Night and day difference between a winner and a salary. I hope tony watches this and hangs his head for all the comments he has made and surrendering the title. 95 tony, There is far more to blackburn rovers than 1995. A pride and passion you left in the smog -
Is it still free to season ticket holders for the rest of the season ?

After an appalling replay and shipping three at home. The away game, the lad from WBA on loan put in the most disinterested performance i can remember a player being ( rakeem harper ?) it snowed to and was bloody freezing. -
imo it should never be more than that. that is a fair price for the league were in, the area and the football served up
