Went in for the yellow shirt for me and my daughter . Told sometime in September. So bought the red and black one for us both. Asked is there anywhere to try it on. Obviously there wasn’t. So bought them and took them to McDonald’s toilets to try on. Both where miles to small my seven year old needed a 12-13 and my large which in every other shirt football or not fits wouldn’t go over my head. Took mine back obviously they had no other sizes so had to refund me 50 quid . Best make the walk on tax a fiver before the fans get blamed for us not generating enough income

WBA are a more talented, more experienced, physically stronger and better coached team. Sometimes you just have to admit the other team were superior and give credit to our lads for giving it their best shot. I spoke to three separate WBA fans whilst waiting to get off the car park. All three said we where the best side they have played by a mile and two said you should get into the play offs playing like that. They were taken back when I said I’d be happy just staying up this season.

Well if there is a better keeper in the championship name him. A lot of positives to take from that defeat. Kaminski is top draw. Quality keeper and outstanding performance. Man of the match for me. Clarkson looks an excellent addition, superb vision and composure for a young lad and will be invaluable this season. Carter played well in an unfamiliar position and against top quality opponents. I have no worries playing him this season. His progress must not be hampered by the loan system. Rothwell again had an excellent game. Tracking back and chasing lost causes as well as a few driving runs and quality passes . Ayala looks quality. Shouting and organising all game. Calm and composed. He will be massive for us this season if he can stay fit Diaz bags another, played well but for god sake stay on your feet and get onside. Dissapoined we didn’t create much in terms of chances . This is a big issue and must improve. I don’t think many better teams will come to ewood this season and overall I don’t think we played to bad. I have more faith now than I did after the Swansea game. We desperately need an out an out striker that is unquestionable. I find it strange that Mowbray has spent years talking of playing out from the back , possession etc and yet we seem to be playing long ball football. Now qualms from me if it works but we need someone who can head a ball and hold it up Danny Graham style because I didn’t see Ben or Sam win much today. Nothing sticks when it goes up the pitch. A few things need ironing out but it isn’t the suicide season I thought it was going to be. After today’s defeat and the manor of it we need to learn to bounce straight back with a result in the next game and not let the death spiral start. hopefully lessons learned through experience. Enjoyed today’s game and well done Rovers 👏🏻 edit. Didn’t mention chapman who I’d all but written off. The star man i remember from league one turned up today.

It’s a sad state of affairs and a terrifying prospect that we not only can but more than likely will get worse than Tony.

Nyambe and Rothwell would be massive and criminal losses. I know people don’t think Rothwell is consistent but he really is the most talented player in our squad along with a fully fit dack. He’s been fantastic in the two games this season and the way he controls the ball , creates space and picks a pass , all types of passes, keeps the team on the front door and ticking over. He will be one of those that you didn’t know you missed until he’s gone. He can dribble and score goals from distance (granted he needs to score more ) but he will make better teams than us tick the way cairney has at Fulham. As for Nyambe he will probably never be premier league quality but he’s top end of our division and won’t easily be replaced. They need tying down ASAP. As far as brereton is concerned he’s improved and shown enough to warrant a new contract but I think losing the 7 million is what’s more galling than losing the player . I still think he’s pretty poor and if rothwell gets stick I don’t understand why he doesn’t. He fluctuates in and out of games and granted he’s scored two already but a lot of his play is average at best. I’m not saying he can’t improve and I would offer him a contract but out of the three he would be the easiest to replace. He’s still falling over , makes poor runs , makes the wrong choices . He’s earned his place in our 11 but that’s more down to the quality we have at our disposal than the quality Ben brings imho. Might not be a popular opinion but there you go. If he came through our youth system I don’t think people would be as bothered if he left. I certainly won’t shed a tear if he left . I hope he kicks on and proves me wrong. I will be singing Diaz Diaz tomorrow and enjoy the little circus surrounding him but the reality is he isn’t the quality we need to make top six

Same team as forest for me with Gallagher central and chapman wide. If we can take a lead and hold it bring Dolan on centrally to close them down and try and keep them on the back foot. Can’t remember saying this for ages but really excited for tomorrow’s game. COYB

Going to be a tough afternoon. If we can Nick one or keep it tight and get a clean sheet it’s would set us up nice for the next few games. The main thing for me is we don’t get thumped, young lads lose confidence and we start a death spiral. We need to learn to pick ourselves up after defeats and go again
