  1. I take it all back. Scrap him. Although his jeans are lovely and unripped
  2. I think Ben would struggle in the premier ship. His first touch can be clumsy at times and he doesn’t score a variety of goals the way arma did. Throw in the confidence rumours/possibilities a relegation battle in front of 52000 geordies isn’t the place for him to thrive . Maybe I’m being negative or hard on him but I’m just enjoying the way he is playing this season because a niggling part of me doesn’t believe he can sustain the levels he’s producing now even at this level and the grass isn’t normally greener for strikers that leave Ewood for bigger things as history has shown
  3. Right now I don’t give a feck how we get out the division but if it comes down to the last game for the title i want the title. There aren’t many trophies available , I’ve seen us win two in my life time and we should always try and do are absolute best. The only thing more embarrassing than finishing top of league one is finishing second to Wigan What if it was Burnley ? Would it matter then ? I don’t see how you wouldn’t want to be crowned the best in the league in any season in any league. That’s why we play isn’t it. To compete over a full season to be the best we can be ? if we lost at charlton with a full strength team that gave its all nothing but praise for Mowbray would be given and nothing mentioned other than the praise he rightly deserves . I’m not crying myself to sleep over it but that doesn’t change the fact we should of gone all out to win that last game
  4. Whilst I completely agree getting out that division was the end goal and what mattered most the title was surrendered at charlton. There was one game left were we could have won the league and a trophy and we chose to not be professional from a club point of view and proud from a fans point of view and try and win the league. There is no excuse in my eyes for not trying to finish top and win the league. However all the talk of limping to to second is ridiculous and any credit tony has for taking us back up is fully deserved
  5. Scored a beauty today. Worth checking out
  6. I’d have Burke here. Get his confidence up , score bags full of goals and he will be worth more than Diaz
  7. Sturridge is exactly the type of signing we should be making even on a six month deal. He 32 and top quality . The quality he possesses could be the difference . Can be a game changer on his own. It’s all down to attitude and desire but I would certainly sit down with him and have the discussion
  8. Put arma in this system and I don’t think the outcome of this season would be affected . Glad breo has stepped up in his abscence but it was the system and lack of quality in other areas holding this team back.
  9. I will glue myself to bolton road if people start throwing toilet roll 🤬🤬🤬 For every toilet roll thrown 200 acres of the Amazon is felled and 8 monkeys die.
  10. I think they add colour and enhance the football experience. I love a good smoke bomb .
  11. Assuming no one is leaving in January we desperately need a right back. I think if we can get a decent right back and keep the squad together along with dack and JRC featuring at some point, injuries and covid permitting, we really could have one hell of a season
  12. I always hated it until it became the soundtrack to our season 💪🏻
  13. Should of tried to listen to it. I got to my car all upbeat and bouyant and had to listen to the most depressing soul sapping post match I’ve ever heard. However if that’s all I’ve got to moan about the manager for then i all can’t be bad 😁
  14. John Buckley completed 73% of his Hollywood passes whilst joe rothwell managed to complete 3 lollipops i prefer Ron Atkinsons football terminology 😂 ( a lollipop is what big Ron re worded as a step over for all you thickos)
  15. I’ve nothing of substance to really add . I just wanted to say I’m so excited and enjoying football in a way I thought I’d never feel again. I thought my youthful ignorance coupled with the good times was the pinnacle. With age, getting older and wiser plus the decade we’ve had , I assumed that my truly passionate days were done and I would just enjoy the football as a pastime but I’m just delighted to be able to feel truly passionate again. I’m counting down the days to the next game, I’m giddy and nervous pre match. I’m feeding off the positive energy in and around ewood and I’m proud of all the young lads who put 100% every week regardless of anything else. I’m happy again. Merry Xmas everyone 🎅
  16. I knew a lad who had shearer on the back of the home shirt and his surname on the away one. Within 8 weeks shearer had left and his mum got married and changed his last name 🤣🤣
  17. FOR SALE One winter death spiral survival kit includes, one litre of jack Daniels, a box of Xanax, a sleeping mask, ear plugs, one blue and white handkerchief and a dvd of the 94/95 season. Used but no longer needed WHERE ON OUR WAY BACK 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
  18. I might have mis read that but if a major transaction is going to cause up roar isn't that a bad thing, if so what or who is being sold that it will cause uproar
  19. If we did sell him, which I personally wouldn't until at least summer then Dwight gayle is the man to replace him. If we could get him on loan and keep Brereton I think we would make the play offs
  20. It doesnt bode well if a struggling league one club can entice a manager sat fourth in the championship at xmas away from ewood. If that unlikely scenario happens it shows how lacking of ambition we really are regardless on my feelings of if Mowbray should stay or go
