So out of interest, if this young jagdish lad took the reigns at ewood, was around the club on a daily basis how would people initially feel without proving himself as he entered ewood and opened up dialogue with the fans. Would people treat him as a fresh start , cautious optimism or would he be seen as another venky just curious to what peoples initial reaction would be as overtime he will either prove himself or prove venky haters right but the initial reaction as in first press conference, first game at ewood where he is noticeably present etc

Does any finance wizards know what credit score would be needed to get a season ticket on a direct debit and if you can set one up with the club like a gym membership or does it go through a company . How likely are you to be rejected etc. I have a very poor credit score as I grew up in the if you can’t pay cash you can’t afford it house. I have never had credit and recently got refused a sofa due to me never having any credit. I’ve just started the processes required to improve it, getting a credit card etc so I was just wondering what the criteria was to meet getting a season ticket in this manor

Isn’t football about entertainment? Goading away fans , pantomime villians , why would we want that to stop ? I love it when fans give stick to players and the players cup there ear 😂 the adebayor knee slide, the shush celebration , it’s all abit of fun equally fans should be able to give a bit , granted the hissing , racism , nazi salutes etc are pathetic , to much and should be banned but there has to be some banter, hatred to ex players , divers , dog kickers etc. And I love a pitch invasion, Doncaster was incredible and one of the best nights of my life. Yeah, we went on to early and that needs to stop but no one was punching and goading just euphoria and thankfulness to a team who had a done well. I don’t see a way around the pitch invasion other than putting a stop to it though as has been seen this week. Players and managers shouldn’t be fearful doing there job but there is a place for a pitch invasion done properly. The game as a whole is sanitised enough without being able to make proper tackles etc , let’s not ruin the other side of it and get everyone to sit in silence on there hands. Never seen Phillips play so this judgment isn’t off ability but if he’s big and strong enough to compete in this league and has the skill set then he’s old enough for the bench and should be on it imo. Wont be the first 17 year old to play championship level football. Why waste another wage and place on the bench if this kid is good enough as cover if nothing else. He’s just as likely to get injured playing down the leagues. Play him pre season and if he does well keep him for the first team squad

I remember going to a rovers away game at Ipswich during the bowyer era. I was on my own so went into a pub marked home fans only. It was an Irish bar and had all the IRA song’s playing. There were loads of bikers, hells angel looking types, beards, leather you got the drift . They were Germans and really nice people. I got chatting and they had struck up some sort of friendship where Ipswich went to Their Germans game and they came to watch Ipswich ( I forget the team) after a game where Ipswich played their club in Europe . Every year since they met in Europe Ipswich traveled to Germany and vice Versa to support their teams. wouldn’t it be great if rovers fans could organise a friendly with Bilbao and strike up something similar. I often thought about the links we have with the Spanish club and do intend to go and watch them at some point (admittedly I thought it was Madrid not Bilbao) anyway just musing . What do others think ?
