He wanted to talk to Bournemouth, our rivals, midway through the season. He will never be at the level of the other players of the squad for me. Should the unthinkable happen and we go up he will always taint the squad photo.

But not for Rovers. And Zeefuik has had two games - let’s not forget before that he was dropped by Hertha Berlin and playing for Groningen. Hedges played for Barnsley too. I think we’ve had a decent window but would have liked another attacker. Shame we missed out on Dembele. Not losing any players is a bonus. Losing Markanday so early is a big loss, you can tell he was the one we wanted and we got him early like everyone wants. People keep forgetting him. Unfortunately in life accidents happen and we couldn’t have foreseen a hamstring injury so early on - although I’m sure some of you will have something to blame Mowbray for there Giles could be a good addition. Khadra has a good delivery and it’s brought us some goals this season so if Giles can contribute with his left it is two good set piece takers. When we are so resolute at the back being able to capitalise on corners / free kicks are huge. We need to stay fit now. 4 big games coming up in Baggies, Sheff Utd, QPR and Fulham. After that we have, on paper, an easier run in with only Bournemouth the worry. I believe.

Who cares about Bournemouth? Just means they have more players to offload for cheap when they miss out. Trying to buy their way out of a poor managerial appointment. Parker is a bad manager and he still has to get a tune out of them They started with Lerma, Christie, Solanke, Billings, Pearson and Anthony last match. Who gets dropped for who they have signed? Best thing they did was bring in Phillips to replace the old Cahill but I think our lads are as good as theirs. We need to stay injury free though.

Lips are generally quite tight sealed regarding transfers at the moment so it was a surprise to see the openness of this. Imo it is quite clear Rothwell made a stink about leaving, and that lead everyone to believe it was inevitable. I find it as good enough reason It is the brand name. It’s cheap and it’s a Red Devil. Doesn’t suit us and it comes across as a cheap brand because of the products it sells. A perfect combination of crap.

It is frustrating because Bournemouth are a nothing club. They got up last time breaking the rules and stomaching the fine. Then after a few years barely treading water, lacking any ambition except survival, they are back down. No promotion for them this season will see them have to sell their players and it won’t be long before they are back where they belong. As it happens it appears his “PREFERRED choice” is to go and help out the team we are battling. Fuck him. If I was Mowbray I’d put him with the kids, get a replacement in on loan and make him watch whilst we have the season of our lives. This could better serve us for motivation - Rothwell doesn’t think this squad can make the Prem otherwise why else would he want to go before the summer? He’s a coward

All of those stupid posts about the club trying to “stoke anger” and turn them against Joe. The silly pie in the sky guesstimations of why this is the clubs fault and not him. Whatever anybody says I do not and will never believe that Mowbray wants to sell Rothwell to Bournemouth. He’s obviously got no choice. The man has downed tools and decided to go somewhere for extra ££. He’s a disgrace. He’s let his team mates down and shown his true colours.

If Rothwell even entertains Bournemouth before the season is out he can do one Good riddance. I don’t care how good you are - you do not let your team mates down like that

Hedges has come at a good time. He will get a game if Ayala is being lumped up top. When you read the list of attackers we have out it’s frightening. All of these are due back shortly so Hedges has real motivation to hit the ground running. Even if he contributes to a few wins in his early weeks then fades I wouldn’t care. We need to keep winning and new signings can help with that. On to a midfielder now - we need some creativity over and above Bucko. Now Liverpool have signed Diaz is Elliott really unrealistic? Get him back for for half a season and he was playing centre mid for Liverpool before his injury!!

Yep. As you would be as a team mate. It will be painful for Rothwell to go back to the squad on Monday. If he even does. You can imagine the likes of Trav will be all over him. You do not abandon your team mates and down tools, least not in the position you are in We need to replace him but being honest if he’s going to play at 60% for fear of injury then he’s useless to us now anyway. It’s a shame that impression has been given, I’ve always liked Joe, and this whole situation is leaving a real sour taste on an otherwise good time for him at the club

This is a tough game. We should be targeting Bell. We know he will get forward and not perform defensively so on the counter we can really exploit that. Put Khadra up against him and if he’s on a good day he will tear strips out of him. Hope we have Rothwell back. Suspect we’ll have more of the ball so that driving threat and better passing is essential. QPR play reading whilst Bournemouth play Barnsley so you would expect them to win there. Not that we should focus on that - if we win our matches they can’t catch us and that’s all that matters at the moment.

We are lucky Bournemouth have appointed Parker A better manager would have that squad competing with Fulham week in week out. Parker isn’t all that great and you’ll probably find he gets a worse club each appointment. Let him focus on his mind games like this whilst we continue to pick up points You have to have faith in the squad to keep Joe’s head in the game. That’s their job as well as Mowbrays.
