  1. Yes both old firm teams each have 3 or 4 players just behind that total. Had Morelos and Kyogo not been out injured for long spells I guess they would have scored many more than the Ross County lad. As for Rogic, he has an amazing scoring record against Motherwell, for some reason. He generally does quite well in the old firms games too.
  2. Yeah but he had relegated them so no better than Mowbray really 😉
  3. Gilbert O'Sullivan - Alone Again (Naturally)
  4. Looking forward to watching the Roses match, which starts in a few minutes. Come on Lanky!!
  5. Sounds like Graham Thorpe is pretty seriously ill. Best wishes to him for a speedy and full recovery.
  6. Another reason for me, and I know this is petty and not something he can control, is that I don't want another Keane managing Rovers, however it is spelt. Just hearing the name makes my fucking blood boil.
  7. Them - Here Comes The Night
  8. The Small Faces - Get Yourself Together
  9. It was even scarier for the players. Nicky Reid and Simon Garner were stripped down to their jock straps and boots by the invading cockneys. The bastards were throwing coins at us in the away end, you could hear them pinging against the floodlight pylon.
  10. I feel sorry for him. Addiction is a terrible thing.
  11. Paul Weller - Foot of the Mountain
  12. Crawley is never a test opener in a month of Sundays chaddy. I'd rather have his Kent opening partner, Compton. He looks a more solid bet.
  13. Fantastic that Rovers are coming back to Glasgow, saves me the usual 6 hour round trip! We won at Celtic Park the last time we played there, and should have also won the time before that. This will be about the 5th or 6th time I’ve seen Rovers play Celtic, my sons are season ticket holders there so it should be an interesting day, and I hope whoever the manager is plays to win 😉✊🏻
  14. I’m going to stick my neck out and predict that Liverpool will win the final by at least 3 goals.
  15. Is this old news? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61317194
  16. Chase and Status - Mixed Emotions
  17. I was in the posh seats (as they were known then!) with my then-brother-in-law. He ran the Celtic youth team at the time.
  18. 100% not true. If you remember, his leaving Liverpool came as a bolt out of the blue - Kenny didn't even speak to Peter Robinson (LFC Chairman) to tell him he was resigning until just a few hours before it was announced. I would be astonished (and in some ways disappointed in him) if he had spoken to Rovers before then. It wouldn't make sense anyway, Liverpool were top dogs in England at that point. Kenny didn't leave them for football reasons, which has been well documented. I think Liverpool were surprised (and a little aggrieved) that he returned to another job relatively quickly - they offered him a break or a sabbatical when he tendered his resignation.
  19. 100% not. He resigned in February 1991 and Souness took over as manager there in April of the same year.
  20. I think you may have missed the irony in my post mate. I married into a Sellick family.
  21. Super Ally did quite well at Rangers, I always thought. Albeit in extremely strange circumstances.
  22. That was my first ever visit to Celtic Park Mark!
