  1. This is all music to my ears, fantastic and THIS is Uncle Jack's legacy!
  2. Those two sentences completely contradict each other Chaddy. Surely you would prefer to go to the actual game rather than watch on telly?
  3. Doctor Robert - The Coming of Grace
  4. The Jam - Little Boy Soldiers
  5. Its gone awry so I'll pick it up from Sparks's last post Bobby 'Blue' Bland - Shoes
  6. Paul Weller - Moon On Your Pyjamas
  7. The walk/run along Manchester Road was a proper gauntlet. I’ve always really disliked Bolton, almost as much as Burnley.
  8. That was pretty much my point mate
  9. Yeah he was and yes indeed, if you haven't seen the Undr the Cosh featuring Patty you can find it on YouTube - its a two parter. Happy days! If we were talking generally it would be Garner but if it was specifically to help this team I'd go for Faz, Gennoe or Barker, all class acts.
  10. I think that was the tour when Patty had just got married about 3 weeks earlier and 'forgot' to ring his missus for three days ha ha.
  11. Absolute quality that Gav. RIP Ronnie Ronette
  12. The Jam - Man In The Corner Shop
  13. Ha ha yeah it didn't give much scope Nick but well done anyway! Paul Weller - Fat Pop
  14. I had my first legal pint before that Liverpool game. I watched the game from the Darwen End with the scousers as my mate was an LFC fan and we wanted to stand together (he won the toss!) and by God it took me all my willpower not to celebrate when Garns opened the scoring. That was the second time in 3 or 4 years we ran a great Liverpool side close in the FA Cup. Wonderful memories.
  15. RIP Ronnie ‘Ronette’ Spector, who has died after a short battle with cancer at the age of 78.
  16. I used to watch that just to see Michaela Strachan The Jam - See Saw
  17. That's pretty clear from a Rovers viewpoint. As we suspected, Hull are the culprits here, allowed to get away with it because of the dozy EFL testing regime which has now been amended.
  18. The Action - Shadows and Reflections
  19. You are completely missing the point mate. If Crawley is the answer then we are in a whole heap of trouble. I don’t care what any number of ex pros are saying - he is not a great opening batsman by anyone’s measurement.
  20. Tony I have a mate who was a 30 year serving police officer (Lancs) who was a spectator at Hillsborough (LFC fan). He still can’t talk about what he witnessed that day and has not attended a professional football match since then, apart from when on duty. It could have been any of us in the Leppings Lane end that day and the portrayal of Anne Williams by Maxine Peake is a nailed on BAFTA award.
  21. It’s a piece of cake. I didn’t even take my jacket off for the second one. 🍻😉😂
  22. I can’t - that’s my point Chaddy!!
