  1. My friend's sister was in Mission Control for the landing last night. A very proud moment for her and her family. If anyone is home-schooling their kids and want to inspire them, show them this https://mars.nasa.gov/people/profile/?id=23214&fbclid=IwAR2CaLXSuMXxEX0Q5ab_6HmkEnAfjoCuPftUfcqw_ULO3J42GIMNxwLmaQw
  2. Adam and the Ants - Dog Eat Dog
  3. The difference being, Jones is an actual centre half, whereas Lenihan isn't, and never will be.
  4. Absolutely spot on, and almost a sackable offence in itself, it is that basic.
  5. Brilliant! I met Jimmy Pursey years ago, not half as big a knob as I had imagined him to be. In fact, he was a decent bloke. Bryan Adams - Summer of 69 (Bryan is another Jam fan!)
  6. Bit of class there Hanks! Elvis Costello and the Imposters - Harry Worth
  7. Ha ha, I bet one or two checked it to see if it actually was a proper anagram as well.
  8. Its also an anagram of ONE MENTAL BARMY TWAT Or at least, it should be.
  9. The Specials - Do Nothing
  10. Terence Trent D'Arby - This Side of Love
  11. The Jam - Dreams of Children
  12. Gary Puckett and The Union Gap - Young Girl
  13. Tim Hardin - Part of the Wind
  14. Curiosity Killed the Cat - Down To Earth
  15. General Public - Hot You’re Cool
  16. It Bites - Calling All the Heroes
  17. I can absolutely, categorically, 100% say that Colin is anything but 'shit' now. In fact, for a 55 year old he's extremely fit. He might struggle a bit against lads half his age but his reading of the game and first movement are what you would expect of a guy that has played at the very top level.
  18. XTC - Towers of London
  19. I remember the Ewood Express getting turned back at Crewe on the way to Eastville in the early 70s as word had got through that the pitch was waterlogged. Years later they laid on a train for Rovers fans for the FA Cup semi final at the Millennium Stadium, it left from Manchester Piccaddilly at silly o'clock in the morning.
  20. Was that the 'v-sign' one Tony? Blimey I remember them.
  21. I reckon it was Brentford away. Then we got sussed out and have been rotten ever since, despite winning/scabbing a few games.
  22. I remember that Tony. I'm pretty sure I travelled to Notts County in an end-of-season 0-0 draw as a member of RATC.
