  1. This really made me chuckle. When you put it like this its difficult to argue with it.
  2. I voted for Travis personally, because of his consistency and the fact that he has come on in leaps and bounds. However, you cannot deny that Arma has, at times, been outstanding, and he has weighed in with plenty of goals, many of them scorchers as well. Well done lad!
  3. Yes, completely agree, To put this in context, if anyone had told me during those 2 or 3 years when Forest were Champions of England and Europe that Portsmouth, Wolves and Huddersfield were 'traditional clubs with recent history' I would have laughed my cock off, and many of their huge successes were actually much closer to 1980 than we are now..... Forest fans should be rightly proud of their historical successes, but it is 40 years ago now.
  4. The Monkees - Last Train to Clarksville
  5. Patti Smith Group - Because the Night
  6. As others have said, arithmetic precedence dictates the order in which the sum is calculated, you don't really need brackets, although they clearly help and had they been included in the original graphic would have made it easier for many to solve. As they say, every day is a school day mate - you weren't the only person to get caught out by it, though your assertions that you are correct don't really do you any favours.
  7. Green Day - American Idiot
  8. Apologies, I omitted the brackets
  9. The Icicle Works - Love is a Wonderful Colour
  10. SPOILER ALERT The light bulbs are what usually catch people out. 1 Bulb + 1 Bulb - 1 Bulb = 15. Cancelling out the + and -; we get 1 Bulb with five lights = 15. Therefore, one bulb with one light = 3 Bulb with 4 lights = 4 x 3 = 12 Therefore the final equation is - 9'o clock + Calulator (1+2+2+4) x 3 bulbs (with four light rays each) Translating the final equation into numbers - 9 + (1+2+2+4) x 3(12) 9 + (9 x 36) = 9 + 324 = 333
  11. I didn’t want to post a spoiler on here so I’ve DM’d the workings out to @Tyrone Shoelaces
  12. Edwyn Collins - Gorgeous George
  13. I’m sad to have to post that earlier today Tommy Duckworth passed away peacefully at home with his family. What a 95 years. Studied at SMC, served in the navy in the Second World War, went to Loughborough and then on to work with and teach all of us connected with school. He has been very lucky to enjoy a 40 year retirement with his family and friends!! Many will remember him as the guy who organised the half time schools ‘penalty prize’ competition at Ewood during Rovers home games for many years. To all who knew him he made the world a better place. A great man. RIP Tommy
  14. Curtis Mayfield - Freddie’s Dead
  15. She’ll say “Tyrone that film was f*cking brilliant you c*nt”
  16. I wouldn’t write them off yet - 20 mins to score 2 edit - conceded again so it’ll be difficult for them now ?
  17. Games aren’t over until the final whistle blows ?
  18. Same Gav, but an Englishman having a pop at a jock in Glasgow might not have ended too well for me unfortunately ???
  19. I had a chance to do exactly this at Celtic Park a few years ago. I ended up ignoring him for the sake of my health and blood pressure but there’s a part of me wishes I had savaged him publicly in front of all his ‘mates’.
  20. The Beatles - Penny Lane More scouse bastards ?
  21. Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany’s
  22. If Sellick get a fast start he will get potted I think. They are desperate to stop 10-in-a-row
  23. Ah, that's right, I knew it was a team Steve Eggy had played in. Footie memories do start to conflute as you get older....... Phil was actually okay for a scouser and of course on top of his high profile job and reffing he had other things to deal with as well that would have broken many people. Mind you, he always did like a sun tan so not surprised to hear he's in a place like Cyprus.
