  1. And yet a neutral would probably look at Rovers' results since lockdown and think "Bet they are good to watch", we've certainly scored (and conceded) a fair few goals in the last 12 or so games.
  2. Does this not mean that between half and two-thirds of half time 'talks' have the opposite effect? Rovers have tended to be pretty fast out of the blocks at the start of games over the past 12/18 months, does Mowbray take credit for that then?
  3. Robert Palmer - Some Guys Have All the Luck
  4. This is why the League Cup game was brought forward. Him and Evans called up for international games.
  5. Blondie - Union City Blues
  6. Dawid Malan’s international T20 record is incredible!
  7. The Rolling Stones - Beast of Burden
  8. The Jam - Away From the Numbers
  9. He’s certainly filled out since I last saw him, bloody Norah! Yeah it was a very niggly game today I thought - Donnie were intent on spoiling tactics particularly first half. Alls well that ends well though, and Wharton and Dolan looked promising. We do like to make hard work of things though.
  10. Paul Weller - Broken Stones
  11. Yes - I upgraded to this new app and it worked perfectly for me today.
  12. I hope not. I’ve paid a tenner for a match pass!!
  13. @arbitro my partner’s cousin is reffing today’s game Tony. Anthony Backhouse, a Carlisle lad. Hope I’m not putting the mockers on him but he normally has a good game whenever I’ve seen him.
  14. Harsh Reality - Tobacco Ash Sunday
  15. Neil Young - Roll Another Number For the Road
  16. You may have missed the irony - I'm fairly sure that's what it was anyway.
  17. The Tom Robinson Band - (Sing If You're) Glad To Be Gay
  18. This has to be done I'm afraid..... Marvin Gaye - I 'Heard' It Through the Grapevine
  19. Are we sure Tony didn't say we have signed a 'keeper' not a 'Kipre'? That Teeside accent can be a right bugger.
  20. The Jam - Life From a Window
  21. Simply Red - Look At You Now
  22. Same Mark. I used to love that blue, amber and white kit.
  23. Roman Road - a lot of the schools and youth teams used those pitches as I recall?
  24. Nasty Mark! Coldest I’ve ever been on a footie pitch was at YMCA in Mellor during a particularly bad blizzard. Blacksnape was very exposed to the elements - my last Lancashire house in Hoddlesden looked onto those pitches; happy memories mate!
  25. Not to mention Bell and Johnson
