  1. Big Sound Authority - My Hell Shaped Room
  2. Bettye Swann - Make Me Yours (A fabulous song to put on just before you go for a night out)
  3. The jocks always used to raise their game in that sort of international - Fergie was always up for them (Scott Brown is similar in that respect) but he used to coast through some domestic games in his first spell at Rangers and that's where he got found out a bit when he first came to us - you never got the chance to do that in the big boys league at that time so he had to be on tip-top form every week.
  4. John Martyn - Somewhere Over the Rainbow
  5. He made the game look very easy when he was at Rangers - a sign of class, especially in the frenetic old firm games. We only ever saw glimpses of that, perhaps because he was up against better players than he was used to and it took him a while to get used to that. Sadly, just when he was starting to look like the Rangers version of Barry Ferguson he got that shockingly bad injury at Newcastle. One that got away as far as Rovers are concerned.
  6. Yes, a 'ned' is the Scottish equivalent of a 'chav'.
  7. He had other assets too. He wasn’t called ‘Stallion’ for nothing....
  8. @arbitro Tony I've just realised that you didn't tell the fantastic 'season ticket in the pocket' story (unless I'd switched off when you told it). Are you saving that one for the after dinner circuit ?
  9. You must have had a mental Bloch mate.
  10. I’ve had a few of them as bosses over the years
  11. You can slide an awfully long way on bullshit, that's for sure.
  12. Cream - Born Under a Bad Sign
  13. The Vapors - Letter From Hiro
  14. Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box
  15. It may seem obvious but the first goal is absolutely vital tonight. If we get it we could win quite comfortably because they’ll have to push on and we can utilise Arma. If they get it they will gain confidence and go from strength to strength. On the basis that we often play well when there’s nothing at stake I’m gonna go for a 1-4 Rovers victory.
  16. I loved Andy Barker's quote "I just looked at him and said: 'Welcome to the Lancashire League. In this part of the world, this is Test cricket.'"
  17. The Who - Smash the Mirror
  18. This really made me chuckle. When you put it like this its difficult to argue with it.
  19. I voted for Travis personally, because of his consistency and the fact that he has come on in leaps and bounds. However, you cannot deny that Arma has, at times, been outstanding, and he has weighed in with plenty of goals, many of them scorchers as well. Well done lad!
  20. Yes, completely agree, To put this in context, if anyone had told me during those 2 or 3 years when Forest were Champions of England and Europe that Portsmouth, Wolves and Huddersfield were 'traditional clubs with recent history' I would have laughed my cock off, and many of their huge successes were actually much closer to 1980 than we are now..... Forest fans should be rightly proud of their historical successes, but it is 40 years ago now.
