  1. Oh Mark what have you done mate? I’m gonna have to cheat this along a bit: Laurel and Hardy - Trail of the Lonesome Pine
  2. Paul McCartney and Wings - Maybe I’m Amazed
  3. The Clash - Train in Vain
  4. Yeah RIP Bob Willis. He’s only been ill for a wee while and as gumboots says, 70 is no age these days.
  5. The Supremes - Back in My Arms Again
  6. We got ambushed on our way back to our coach that day - a Darwen lad (Dave Baker?) took a particularly bad kicking if I remember correctly. My cousin (who shall remain nameless here for obvious reasons) also got battered on his way back to said coach, with the irony being he was actually a Liverpool supporter. Liverpool were the best team in Europe then, who would have thought 15 or 16 years later we would have been going back there to become champions of England!?
  7. Three eyes..... Billy Fury - Half Way to Paradise
  8. Franki Valli - My Eyes Adored You
  9. I see 'limited numbers' of the third kit have just been released.... https://www.roverstore.co.uk/3rd-kit/adult-and-junior/1904_rovers-1920-adult-3rd-shirt.html
  10. Nick Drake - Way to Blue
  11. Tim Hardin - If I Were a Carpenter
  12. Three wills.... John Lennon - Power to the People
  13. Robert Wyatt - Free Will and Testament
  14. The Specials - Too Much Too Young
  15. Crikey how must Tim Flowers be feeling right now!?
  16. Being ‘in the public domain’ doesn’t make them accurate though.
  17. Each to their own but if you’d rather play Birmingham away than Burnley then that’s your prerogative mate. Personally finding it hard to get excited about that draw tbh.
  18. My point wasn’t about the age he is now but the age at which he started. Most players (Giggs and Ronaldo excepted) only have so many games in their legs. Milner - who also began his pro career at 16 - is currently finding that out and he (as I stated earlier) is held up as someone who has looked after himself. How old was Cowans when he signed for Rovers?
  19. It’s a very strange negotiating tactic wouldn’t you say?
  20. Those last two sentences of Mowbray’s are disgraceful.
  21. I'd quite like to play the Dingles, absolutely nothing to lose against that lot.
  22. The jocks are so convinced that they won't qualify, the fact they 'could' play England has barely even been reported up here to be honest.
  23. Sweet Sensation - Sad Sweet Dreamer
  24. We did it back to them (albeit in a different context) during the Uncle Jack years. But in the 80s I would happily have smashed any of the cocky bar stewards faces in to be honest.
