  21. He was a terrific actor. That scene with the garden gnomes in the Full Monty still cracks me up every time I see it. RIP
  22. Unbeaten so far this year but alas I fear Rotherham will have too much for us. And I can’t believe I’ve actually just typed that but I can’t see beyond a 2-1 defeat with a few boos ringing round Ewood at the final whistle.
  23. This thread/post makes me sad. Sorry for your loss @SamTheShrew that must have been difficult. Aside from that we couldn’t be further apart in terms of how we view The Rovers. If anything, this sums up and confirms for me that the introduction of the premier league and the Sky TV saturation of live games for the last 30 years has created a generation of fair weather supporters. I hope you get a good price for your stuff 🍻
  24. “They’ll be dancing in the streets of Raith tonight”… A famous faux pas by the BBC’s Sam Leitch after the Kirkcaldy team had knocked the mighty Celtic out of the Scottish Cup. Another well known mistake is to assume that Partick Thistle actually play in Partick (Maryhill, not far away but far enough to matter to the locals).
