2022/2023 Pre Season Thread

Starting to get excited about Vale. Can’t do much more than he has. -
I can't imagine either GB or JDT would have joined Rovers had they not had assurances over budgets and opportunity to make signings. JDT turned down a club in the Champions League to come here.... The ways of working and how we sign players has and will change (thankfully). I imagine we will see the benefits soon enough. Remember, with Rothwell, Lenihan and Nyambe we didnt get out of this league. If that is indeed the aim, aim higher. I'm excited to see what unfolds but it will not happen overnight.

This is all quite good isn’t it?! Excited and optimistic for what’s to come. The man is all class. -

I'm not convinced there are many clubs out there who would stump up the cash required. -

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-rosen/profil/trainer/58938 Ben Rosen has a decent CV. -
I’m quite excited by the prospect of JDT. Yes it’s a gamble but compared to some of the names mentioned (Pardew etc) one I would take. Huge pedigree in the game, success at his previous clubs and a winner. As a comparator, Farke had done nada except a stint at Dortmund B team and look how that went. Bring it on and let’s get behind him. (Cue an Adkins announcement on Monday)

Regardless of your opinion of TM and whether he should stay (I don't), to not even be consulted or spoken to by the club hierarchy is at best unprofessional and at worst disrespectful. TM is extremely limited, not progressive and we need a change of manager. I like to be optimistic that someone can come in and utilize the academy and the young players we've got next season and shape an exciting team. The biggest problem we have isnt TM or the players. Its the total crap we have as a CEO and lack of strategy and leadership at an executive level.

Here at the game and once again the following is fantastic. Deserve so much more than this capitulation. At least Renzo seems to be enjoying himself with the fans.
