  1. Leeds were punished because the rules at the time were 3 ml losses and a maximum of 3m owner investment, those rules no longer apply. It's now over an accumulated 3 year period and the shareholder investment limit has changed significantly
  2. They're new owner could have just pumped loads of money in through the various workarounds within the FFP regulations, they're fairly easy to circumvent providing owners are happy to gift the club money.
  3. It's absolutely crazy that McGinn will be available for 3 million when you've got Grealish going for 30 odd, absolutely mental
  4. He'e been taking lessons from Nixon with that one
  5. a few people suggested she gets paid for it and or is with him for monetary gain, if someone said that about my daughter I would rip their head off.
  6. Jesus Christ, give the girl a break. Who knows what she's like? Having her character assassinated and reasons for being with her fella by a bunch of internet nobodies because of how she looks, pretty poor fellas, pretty poor.
  7. I don't see Travis being put out on loan, Mowbray has really talked him up and he can play in a number of positions. Tomlinson I agree will depart on loan, Whittingham, who knows. He's not going to get anywhere near the first team, he also didnt exactly shower himself in glory last season so you wonder how many league 1 clubs would want him on his no doubt hefty wages.
  8. I think he was facetiously meaning Admiral Nelsen
  9. Fair play to Hart, he could go to a club where he is guaranteed games and a big salary. The fact he is going to somewhere were there is loads of competition and a lesser salary level shows he is still keen to test himself IMO.
  10. Yep, 'plucky little Bournemouth' and thier Russian billionaire owner blew FFP out of the water from Jan onward in their promotion season, since been handed a fine, Leicesters case was recently resolved too
  11. Sharpe confirmed last night we were in for him.
  12. I'm sure I read in the Daily Record Brighton showed interest some time ago but never firmed it up. There only really seems to be Celtic looking at him, be surprised if Lawwell increases his offer, he's a stubborn sort and runs a very tight financial ship.
  13. If we get McGinn that would be one of the best pieces of business in this league all window, if he was at an English club his price tag would be north of 10 million easy.
  14. cheers, much appreciated.
  15. If someone could paraphrase what's in the article I can't bring myself to go onto the Sun website
  16. What about Billy Connolly? He cracks me up
  17. In which case I really don't think we need him, a 5th attacking option who isn't wanted at Forest and struggled on loan at relegation threatened Bolton and had a purple patch about 3 years ago.
  18. It would cause problems for our midfield and defence, there is barely a tackle between the 4 of them!
  19. Clough is a luxury player IMO and with Dack and Palmer we have enough attacking players to join up with Graham. We need another out and out striker, ideally someone who can run in behind to give us different options. Clough isn't someone who you see stretching a back line, that's what we are desperately lacking at the moment.
  20. Transfer window closes next Thursday (United play Friday night) for UK clubs buying players, they can sell players to leagues outside of the UK until the closure of the normal transfer window on 31st Aug.
  21. I don't think it was Bamford either, I think Mowbray is looking for someone quick to play off Graham and provide a different sort of option.
  22. Well it will need sorting out by next week if he is going anywhere permanent otherwise it's another loan and his contract expires at the end of the season I believe.
  23. Anyone paying 15 million for Paddy Roberts wants their head investigating!
  24. I've seen loads of Roberts and to be honest I think he's fairly average, he also fancies himself as being at a top club so would be very very surprised if he opted to 'drop' into the championship. He's not quick, doesn't really tackle or work back brilliantly, he struggled to play regularly at Celtic last year and was invariably left out for the bigger cup games, Old Firm and matches against Aberdeen, Hibs and the other stronger sides.
