U23s beat Chelsea away yesterday and have now won 4 on the bounce in PL2, wish Mowbray used them more.

He made a big mistake that cost us points in the Brum game, I can’t remember any others this season? So he’s cost us just 2 points this season, and he’s saved us many more than that, that’s not bad going at all.

The back four trust him massively you weapon, I know this personally after speaking to one of them. He’s made one error leading to a goal all season, which is pretty excellent at any level. His shot stopping is fantastic and his command of the box is good (and getting better all the time), his distribution needs work admittedly but it’s by no means horrific.

The best keepers in the world make howlers every now and again, Raya has made what? 1 this season? That is fewer than De Gea, Ederson, Alisson, Lloris etc. etc. He’s 23 ffs, get a grip.

Load of shite, Raya will be playing in the top flight very soon (and it won’t be for us). I’m yet to see a better keeper than him in the Championship and he’s just turned 23. We will soon be holding Raya back, not the other way around. Amazing that people who have watched football their whole lives can’t see how good he is.

Loved the gamesmanship to get Livermore sent off as well. Most of our team would have got straight back up (Smallwood definitely would have done as he’s thinks he’s an ‘ard man), and Livermore would have got away with a booking. It showed real intelligence and we’ve been missing a bit of that.

The thing is that he’s a perfect player to have on your bench, can play 3/4 positions, fit, quick, solid defensively, absolute joke that he’s not been in the squad most of the season.

I think Mowbray’s treatment of this lad has been down right disgusting. His performance yesterday has left a bitter taste in my mouth. How can a young lad who has come through the ranks, and is clearly good enough to be (at least) our first sub every week, be banished from the picture for 6+ months? Especially when those keeping him out (i.e. Mowbray’s pal Smallwood) have been horrific in the main. Travis has only put one foot wrong in his career so far (the red away at Portsmouth, which didn’t actually cost us points), and he’s looked the part every time he’s put on a Rovers shirt apart from that, for a 20 year old that’s pretty good going. I fear that we’re going to lose him and he’ll inevitably go on to have a very successful career elsewhere, and I wouldn’t blame him one iota if he wanted out. We’ll miss him more than he’ll miss us.

The suggestion of Nyambe as a winger is hilarious, he has never successfully completed a cross in his career. He’s been pretty horrendous in the last few games, I’d take him out of the firing line for a while and play Bennett right back. There’s a good player in Nyambe somewhere and I think it’s easy to forget how young he is, a rest would do him good.

I’m still of the opinion that Lowe is the worst player I’ve ever seen play for Rovers, utterly talentless. He was the common denominator in our downward spiral. We’ve only had good times since he left and he’s only had bad times, which says it all really. Being the worst player in a relegated Premier League side and then a few years later being the worst player in a relegated Championship side takes some doing, but Lowe did it. The fact that he had the cheek to reject a new contract offer from us and leave on a free shows the character of the man, I will boo him everytime he plays against us.

He’s seen him play ffs, what are you proving posting videos? Gallagher was a poor header of the ball, we saw him play week in week out for a year.
