  1. Seems to have gone down hill since those Newcastle bids were rejected.
  2. You’d expect a comfortable win tonight, but this is Blackburn Rovers.
  3. Batty not in the squad? I wonder if he’s going out on loan?
  4. Lewis Baker scored the winner for Stoke today. I’m sure Stoke won’t want to lose him and after last nights performance, I can’t see Rovers wanting to swap Travis. Edit: Gallagher is out until early September with a Calf injury.
  5. Well then, I wasn’t expecting that. Great win and three points on the board. Szmodics has shown that he’s too good for this league, tonight should add another £2m on his price tag.
  6. Calm down, this is BRFCS. It could end 4-4.
  7. Odds on Nyambe scoring the winner?
  8. Safe travels to everyone and hopefully it will be an enjoyable night at Ewood. I will be watching from home tonight with my three month old son. It’s his first game so I’m sure he’ll be asleep by half time 🤣
  9. I do feel for the lad, left promotion chasing Crewe and barely played. In hindsight he should have stayed on loan with Crewe, similar to when we signed Pickering. Hopefully he gets a decent L1 loan move and comes back a better player.
  10. Yes, that’s why I’ve chosen him to score tomorrow. He scored the winner at Deepdale in 2019 when we went 2-0 up after 15 minutes and bottled it 😂
  11. 1-1 Dolan to score for Rovers and Barkhuizen for Derby.
  12. It’s laughable when this should have been wrapped up after haggling over such a small fee (in football terms). Marseille have agreed €2m + bonuses so it was always going to be higher than our bid.
  13. Let’s say the Ipswich move falls through for Szmodics. I know he’s a fit lad but he’s not played a pre season game since Accrington and he went off injured during that game. In the highly unlikely scenario that he stays with Rovers, our best player isn’t match fit…
  14. Surely Newcastle have signed him to help with their homegrown quota. Why would they loan him out?
  15. “Barnsley FC Sporting Director Mladen Sormaz said, “We watched Georgie at Motherwell a lot last season and we feel he is a top prospect for the future who also has the maturity to step straight in an make an impact this year. "We first entered into discussions with Blackburn in May, but they wanted to take him away for pre-season and assess him, so we started to work on other deals. However, we ultimately made the decision to hold out for Georgie as our top target in that position.”
