  1. If he can hold his phone and move his thumb to the post button then he's fit enough to play 90 mins tomorrow.
  2. I'd rather have him training with the u23s and leave for free than go to a promotion rival
  3. 8 wins from 18 should do it so agree with you that should be the bare minimum. 8 wins means we can lose 10 times over the remainder of the season so we can have a pretty awful couple of months and still be in with a shout of the play offs.
  4. Just been looking. Average points for 2nd place since the mid 90s is 87 and average for 6th spot is 74. We're on 52 with 18 to play. I'm confident of 6th spot the wheels will have to well and truly come off for us not to get that and after last night I don't think that is going to happen. 2nd is a big ask with how stretched the squad. Couple of good bodies through the door will help this massively. Bournemouth aren't the biggest worry for me at the moment but QPR seem to be quietly chipping away. Let's hope Swansea can do us a favour tonight because if they win their 2 games over us they go 2nd
  5. Zeefuik as well looked like a promising addition, if he achieves nothing else we can bring him on in the last 10 minutes to get the ball up the pitch.
  6. That is MASSSIVE. Stretched squad, team in great form, big pressure game, on the back of a few poor performances, found a way to win. Gally worked his arse off and will sleep well tonight, we need to see that player more often but absolute credit to him today, chasing every last ball to the very end.
  7. He's keeping Chapman out of the picture which says something about chapman
  8. Did anyone see Tony giving instructions to Butterworth? Looked like he was showing him how to roll a joint
  9. If we win it'll be a 1-0 goal from a CB at a corner or free kick
  10. If attitude and work rate are the issue then could be an option from the bench for 10-15 mins if we're chasing a game. On his day can produce a bit of magic that could get us a vital point but obviously don't want to be relying on him for longer if he's not doing his bit off the ball.
  11. Crucial game this for me imo. Losing given the past few games would mean 4 points from 12 and suddenly we're in a rut after being on a 10 (?) game unbeaten run. Draw wouldn't be a disaster but a win would put us 10 points clear in the play offs and up into second albeit with an extra game. It's the difference between a 10 point cushion and a 5 point cushion with winning bringing a bag full of confidence and losing probably damaging morale
  12. New year results aren't great. I hope to god we're not in the early stages of a spiral...
  13. If we lose playing like this I can swallow it a lot better than if it were the first half performance again
  14. Toothless long balls and people trying a Hollywood pass to nowhere
  15. No coincidence that our best run came when gally was injured
  16. I did some sleuthing aaaaages ago. Vague references to his high flying professional life got me curious + there can't be many Phillip Ls from Blackburn living in Malta. Anyway long story short, he posted on LinkedIn like 2 weeks ago so escaped covid it seems
  17. Just got images of mowbrary trying to haggle in Spanish - like Del Boy with a boro accent
  18. 2.5 years in this house and I've never used the washing machine
