Yup, Tm saved himself with that nice little run of results in dead rubbers at the end of the season. We were a bit of a surprise package at the start of the season, then we got figured out, then the bad run, then the dead rubbers - this season we do not have the benefit of being an unknown and are therefore goingto be stuck in the same form that we had once we were figured out. Nothing has changed enough, we still rely on Dack.

Its very well trying a better possession game but time and again we are showing we dont have the players for it (particularly at the back). I admire Tosin for his brave attempts to get it to the feet of players further up the pitch but more often than not he just gives it to the oppo. He is the best of them too, the rest just really do not have it in them to be creative so just end up left to right before ultimately sending it long anyway. Complete waaste of time as we might as well have just done that anyway without risking losing possession high up the pitch due to a high press.

You just have to cut it all back. You got strikers as wingers and midielders playing as LB. I mean?????? Yes, he can bemoan some injuries but even when a full fit squad its the same. Round pegs in square holes. And besides, two windows in a row you have gambled with an injury prone defense Mr Mowbray and both times you have been caught out much like most of your managerial career it might be said). Lets wait for his post-Blackburn interview when he says he wished he bought that bruiser of a CB like he did in his last 35 jobs.

Thats got to be that for TM now. That was fckin awful. Bright 10 mins in the second half and that was it. Walton is not a keeper. We got shafted there so who the hell thought it would be a good idea to offload Raya to bring in another non-scoring striker and then not replace said keeper that is even on the same level? Perhaps he should practice the robot dance and become a striker because despite his size, he aint a keeper.

Ah, isnt that the same thing he said about Harrison Reed who now starts and is earning good reviews for a team chasing promotion? When with us though, he was told to learn how to play CM from Evans and Smallwood. Watch this space that Holtby will become bored stiff here and will move the first opportunity that he gets and does similar to Reed. Positional sense? He was bossing that game and as one poster said during the game, is similar to players like Tugay that already knew what they were going to do with the ball before it got to them. TM will drum all of this out of him in much the same way he has been doing with Travis. Doesnt like drive or creativity does he TM, Rothwell and Chapman other examples of being far too exciting for our Tone.

Would you class his football as brave? Think you are getting mixed up a little. Do not think anyone is calling the man a 'coward', just how he sets up his teams. He summed himself up against Huddersfield. The moment he brought Evans on, he had basically settled for a draw at home against a team below us.

There is a huge difference between managing the youth teams compared to being the first team manager. As brilliant as DJ has been, it would be quite the risk to throw him right at Championship level. I'd like him to work under someone as assistant manager for a few years first or another route for him would be to get a managers gig down the leagues.

Even with those, i doubt we are anywhere near the 10 million we spent last season.

Waggott also said we had a similar budget to last season. So why did we have a net spend of 2 mil and seemingly has to get CM out of the door to free up cash for a loan?

I think we should have signed Sam Byram

Holtby and Travis off was just bemusing for me. Especially at the same time. Travis was on a booking yes so could understand if he was hooked. Holtby was everywhere, was so inteligent and it was a joy to see him spraying his passes around. Do not understand why he has this slowly, slowly approach when introducing some players. First few games sub, finally gets a start and is best player ont he pitch and gets hooked. -

Excellent response to going behind. Holtby and Dack together looks promising to say the least. Nyambe very impressive on his return apart from one misplaced clearence that could have been punished. Never seen him get forward so much. -

The 3 at the back formation looked good but if its 4-2-3-1 with Bennett at lb and Dack upfront, i wont be so happy. -

Surely Dack and AA should be swapping? Dack upfront has never worked -
