  1. He has been playing better of late but you have to wonder whether his contract coming to an end is part of the reason. If it is then he will likely revert to type by only playing well before N' Ireland squads are announced. I too think his wages could be spent better elsewhere tbh.
  2. Get em both - purely to tongue-tie the commentators.
  3. Is there really any need for point scoring? Dragging up old posts?
  4. I will also throw my hat into the ring here and say that I am absolutely delighted to have been proven wrong. Our early blip and what it might mean for the club led me to twist...I have never in my life been happier to admit I was wrong. Take this feel good factor into the new season! Massive congrats to TM and the team.
  5. Ogogo wouldnt be a bad shout either, the main man for the Shrews and his injury has coincided with their massive drop in form. Nolan from them and Beckles look pretty good too. Fear for them in the playoffs now and despite deserving to get up, I dont think they will. Think Marriot would cost too much, were they not turning down 8 million bids from the Championship in January?
  6. They acting like winning League 1 is the PL title or something. Promotion is all that matters, what order it is in I could give a flying fck.
  7. Sold Steele for 500k Signed Dack for 750k Cashback!
  8. Who'd have thunk that our u23's are now officially better than one of the worlds biggest clubs.
  9. The issue is in the way chaddy puts it - 'Dack is not for sale at any price' Didnt know Chaddy was the owner or manager. All players have a price where the owners and/or manager will sell. Even if they say they have no intention to sell, a stupid bid comes in and things change.
  10. Oh Dacky, you're so good, you're so good you blow my mind Oh Dacky Oh Dacky
  11. WOW itk Chaddy, and how do you know he is not available for any bid? - 50 mil?
  12. Those deep runs he makes combined with lethal finishing is what make him a special player.
  13. A good night for us topped up by the Stanley lads - enjoy your celebrations tonight guys - what an achievement!
  14. Wolves are managing it by bringing in players worth $15 mil upwards that are of real quality. Players that will likely move on for bigger fees. We did it by bringing in Edinho, Bruno Mars at RB, another fullback whose name I cannot bring myself to type, a million pound teenager now playing non-league and two past it mercenary CMs that couldnt (or wouldnt) even move their legs. The ones with actual potential we let go for peanuts in King and Rochina while the rest bled us dry as we tumbled down the leagues.
  15. A roundabout way of saying his u23s are crap but he does make a few fair points. The true talents, the likes of Owens, Rooneys, Giggs, Rashfords, Ronaldos of this world and our very own Duff, the talent was obvious from the get go and were around the first teams in their teens or very early 20's at the latest. I can kind of agree that if you are a bitolder than that and still not in contention, there is not much chance of it happening. There will be obvious exceptions of course but those United u23s have nothing more than hoping for a lower league club now and looking to try and develop through game time. Makes me think about our lot though, Utd are obvious a massive club so getting in would be tough anyway. We are a League 1 side and we must have some approaching the age now where it is not going to be happening for some of them.
  16. Isnt it funny that it took agents to successfully run a club for it to become hot gossip? We barely got spoken about while they were destroying us - but now its suudenly wrong when Wolves are scaring some of the big boys.
  17. Maceo Rigters? Edinho? Just two awful players off the top of my head - Chris Brown looked like Messi compared to those two.
  18. Its a no-brainer, he enjoys playing for Mogga and does well for him. He will be here next season one way or another (unless Toon go down)
  19. He seems to be relishing the narrow role behind Graham and the attacking football that Mowbray likes to play. At Bolton I assume he was pushed out too wide and he did not like that role. This guys pace and finishing is top class and if he can adapt to this role further as he is now - he might still have a Toon career yet. Prove he can cut it in the Championship with us next season (if we make it) and there is just one more league to master. I really think he could do it in the championship - he has the qualities at least.
  20. Evidence that R Sharpe sources his stories from this board when its a slow news day - or that Gav wrote the article for him. Glad I have so far been proved wrong...which is what i asked for after a horrendous start...there is nothing more to it than that.
  21. This is how I determine 'World Class' tbh...would they get into a World XI There are not many strikers you would pick ahead of him right now other than perhaps Suarez. Depending ont he formation he would either be partnering Suarez or on the bench. So as of right now - probably world class in my book. Needs to show it for England though.
  22. I have never been as disinterested in a World Cup, dour manager, crap players and its in fckin Russia.
  23. 20 million - not a chance lol. When they first came in they gave us a budget of 5 million and thought that would be enough to fire us into Europe.
  24. That is certainly good news if true - he should just write off this season now and get himself properly ready for the next one.
