  6. I was referring to what was said about him searching out van Dijk and Wanyama, (perhaps you missed that or chose to ignore it). If he was able to find anyone similar it would be good for the club.
  7. I think it’s fair enough for people to express their concerns regarding the appointment of Park and his connection to Mowbray. However, if the guy is as good at his job as reports say, then surely this is a positive move forward by the club. The main issue will be if he is allowed to carry out his job without interference from “the management”. We can only hope Tony has more important things to think about instead, like where to sit and still be able to have a snooze without being disturbed when supporters are allowed back.
  8. We had already had two songs based on group and love. Not much to work on with just deleter, I’m sure you will agree. Perhaps we all need updating on the “rules” of the thread.

  15. Bloody hell, mate. EastLancs are in enough trouble without wanting the loons to “invest” in them.
  16. Unfortunately, our club is being run by a bunch of charlatans so the usual expectations of fair play don’t exist in their thought process. The next step will be to change our club motto to “Bleed those suckers dry”
  17. Sorry, I didn’t have my glasses on 😳
  18. My sincerest sympathies to you, sir.
  19. Excellent. I have the full set of programmes for the 1974/5 season, including the the two hard to find newspaper ones. It was a cracking season, although I missed a chunk of it as I was working in Cornwall. I went to the Plymouth away game, travelling on a football special train from Penzance. It was a miserable return journey after losing 2-1, but less than two weeks later we had our revenge at Ewood, thumping them 5-2. I was working with an Argyle fan, listening to the scores on the radio. At 2-0 down I was getting some severe stick, but when we pulled a goal back I shouted across the kitchen in a fit of pique, that’s it, we’re going to knock in five now. The Argyle lad just laughed. He wasn’t laughing at a quarter to five.
  20. The Human League - Don’t You Want Me
  21. True, plus as much as Rigger and others would like to watch their football from behind the goals, the decision is completely out of the supporters hands and will be decided only by the idiots who are allegedly running our club.
  22. So on that basis, the Riverside AND Jack Walker Stand should be closed?
  23. So on that basis, the Blackburn End is at risk.
  24. No, I mean the Blackburn End or the Jack Walker Stand.
  25. The supporters who sit in the Riverside do so out of personal choice i.e. friends, family, workmates etc. There is no reason for them, myself included, to want to sit anywhere else in the ground simply because of costs. Based on your reasoning, why do think just the Riverside will be closed, any other section could be closed on that basis.
