  1. Good grief, Right when things were looking up, today and for the season.
  2. I’m going to stay optimistic, Rovers are on a nice run, taking 14 of the last 18 points, & Tony has been pretty good at getting 11 on the pitch that can get us points. This run all started with 0-0 vs Boro when we had 12 1st teamers out, 7 who under anybody’s score card could be considered starters. I’ve gotta trust Tony on this one... hopefully, I won’t be venting my anger on him if it doesn’t play out the way I think it should. COYB!
  3. I’m thinking Rothwell & Downing might give us the edge. If not now for Downing, when?
  4. Elliott is going to have a fantastic career. Probably elsewhere, but I’m thrilled to have the lad for now.
  5. Rovers with 17 points in the 7 games Rothwell has started; I sure hope it works, whatever Tony has up his sleeve today.
  6. Yes, I lol’d at these. Turn up and we win, ha ha. Tony’s recruitment of nice, easygoing lads is well known. I wish we could get dirty & maddog mean on occasion.
  7. SamG has scored twice in the last three games, BB has scored twice in the last four. I don’t think even the most optimistic of us expected this kind of production. Arma with four in the last four- but the good news, it’s not all about Armstrong scoring, if we want to win. I think my favorite stat is 3 goals allowed in the last five. If we can keep that going, we will win a bunch more than we lose and tie the rest of the year. Trying to stay positive...
  8. Right on, JH, with Arma Leading the charge & the goal diff, the expectation should be one of seize the moment, the future is now. I have to question: If Bournemouth, Norwich, & Watford have the quality rosters in the division, surely Rovers must be close by. Fully healthy (which hopefully we see soon) Rovers have as solid a 11 & bench as any in the Championship. Its this year... no excuses remaining.
  9. I have been impressed throughout our plague of injuries, Mowbray has managed to put midfielders out that have been productive. We haven’t had arguably our two best (Dack & Travis) yet we’ve managed to stay afloat. This game is tremendously important- it comes after a run of points, it’s at home (not very meaningful during the pandemic), and it is before a couple of tough roadies. Rovers have played like a team seeking a playoff place, I expect them to do it again Wednesday.
  10. Great work to get all 3 pts today. This team may very well accomplish even bigger things this year, if we can count on Sammo & BB to keep scoring on occasion.
  11. Great lineup. Have to expect points today!
  12. We’ve taken 8 out of 12 points from the last four fixtures. When we were full hospital ward, the five games before, we took only 3 points from 15. With guys coming back, Tony can choose a very strong 11, & Rovers have what appears to be one of the best benches in the Championship. With our next two at home, against two teams below us on the table, we really need to get all six. Especially, with #3 & #6 (Brentford & Bristol) both away the next two games.
  13. Wonderful win. After getting just 3 pts in 15, we’ve now won 8 of a possible 12. Well done, Tony & lads!
  14. That’s so Dolan can come on and get the winner!
  15. It will be that much more rewarding when he & Dolan come on to team up for the late winner!
  16. Someone says Cassandra, all I can think about is Cassandra Peterson (aka, Elvira). wish I could post her pic...
  17. I will take a point, it’s progress. Disappointing, nonetheless.
  18. Anybody have money on Sam scoring today!? ?
