Rovers v Canaries. Sat 12th Dec 3pm

He's only managed two clubs at Sunderland he was a big success and at Ipswich he wasn't really a success or failure just average. -
Such insulting words about our great football club although no doubt it will be lapped up by his disciples. Just as with all things Mowbray does it is all about his own self-preservation and nothing else. If only he had as many footballing ideas as he does excuses then we'd already be in the top flight. Every time we hit a dodgy run he comes out with a barrel load of different excuses and of course he is never to blame.

Very sensible words here from Roy Hodgson. Sadly for Mowbray and his disciples these sort of meaningless stats are a sign of success and progress. Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson rubbishes use of 'meaningless' statistics | Daily Mail Online

Yes because the like of Brereton and Gallagher have never received any criticism for their scoring records, have they.

Mowbray's disciples will never turn against him. Because he got us promoted from League 1 he is their messiah and no one could possibly better him in their eyes. The simple fact is we haven't improved as a team as the league table shows. There is one simple reason why we have not improved and that is because yet again the manager has failed to improve the defence, it's an old cliché but a true one all successful sides are built upon a solid backline. We perhaps have a more easy on the eye attacking style but sadly the substance is still the same as the league table shows.

That's that then because they'd never place their trust in the wrong person would they. -

The second goal is a fantastic reaction finish from Pukki but the defending from Lenihan in the build up to it was awful and the clearance from Williams was pathetic. Also did we not score a deflected last minute winner just a few games ago? Was this copied and pasted from this times last season because exactly the same argument was being has then and us doubters were proven correct as we plodded along to a mid table finish. -

Hughes would be a good shout. Nigel Pearson would me choice. There are also bound to be managers out there who none of us had heard of for example before this season I doubt many people had heard of the Reading manager, the last 3 managers that Barnsley have appointed have all been a success for them but not many of us would have heard of them prior to becoming Barnsley manager. -

Sadly the table doesn't look any different from our perspective and that is all that really matters. Different style same substance. -

Yes the squad is better which is exactly why I want Mowbray out as I want to see this squad have the best chance possible of achieving something rather than wasting another season of mid table mediocrity with Mowbray. Which will then result in the better players moving on to fulfil their ambitions at a more ambitious club. -

They won't finish in the top 6. Just because they are above us it doesn't mean they are a top team otherwise that would mean that nearly half the league are top teams. -

I wouldn't call Bristol City one of the top teams they finished below us last season. They are a good top half side who can't take the next step to the play offs. You can have all the variables you like but there are only two things that matter, the number of points won and the position in the table anything else is merely spin. -

And I want us to get promoted to the Premiership and we will not achieve that under Mowbray. You can play all the lovely skilful football you like but you won't achieve anything unless you have a solid defence which we don't and never will have under Mowbray. In regards to the change of style in the words of Alphonse Karr 'the more things change the more they stay the same' and that is certainly true in regards to our results and league position. -

Deluded. The same old clichés about League 1, about seeing where we end up and about being on a journey. Also the lack of challenging questions to him from the local media is a disgrace, they are supposed to be journalists not PR men for Mowbray. -

But it's still losing football however you try to dress it up and we are no higher up in the table. -

Groundhog day again. These 3 games off the back off a good run were a real chance for us to show that we were genuine promotion candidates, sadly we have come up well short and we are at our ceiling under Mowbray which is mid table. Three of todays back 4 were part of the League 1 promotion winning defence 3 seasons ago and the other one is league 1 standard at best. I thought that any left back would be an improvement on Bell but Douglas has proven me wrong. Lenihan and Williams were both abysmal and are never going to be good enough to get us into the Premiership, just what was Lenihan doing for the second goal. It sums the pair of them up that they can't get into a absolutely dreadful Republic of Ireland team yet Mowbray think they can get us to the Premiership. Nyambe once again the shinning light of the back 4 superb as always and unlike us as a club I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him playing in the Premiership next season, one things for sure I can't see any reason why he would sign a new deal with us. The subs in midfield for the second game running did not help us one bit. And my goodness how out of his depth did the boy wonder Buckley look. Incredible really to think that Elliott is 4 years younger than him, with the difference in how they deal with the physicality of games you would think it was the other way around. On Elliott what a fantastic goal and no surprise to me that it come from him playing from the right hand side, why does Mowbray constantly move him about can he really not see that when he plays from the right he is our best player. It's another game where we have conceded the first goal and have failed to win. In fact we only have one point from 8 games where we have conceded first. I think that says a lot about the mentality of the club there doesn't appear to be that fight there which for me comes from the manager. He feels under no pressure whilst his mate is CEO and in return the players feel no pressure from the holiday camp mentality that Mowbray has at the club. If the owners and Waggott are serious about promotion then they would sack Mowbray tonight and if Mowbray really did have the clubs best interest at heart then he would admit that he has taken the club as far as he can and resign. -

I only use Twitter, I very rarely post on there but I find it very good for keep up with news especially local news and it is by far the best way to keep across all the local sport. -
If we had 3 points for every game people say we should have won this season then Mowbray really would have the team flying but as it is we are where we will always remain under Mowbray which is mid table. We have a squad that is capable of making the top 6, it if not top 2 but a manager who is a detriment to that and whilst he is in charge we only ever flirt with the play offs before falling back into mid table.

And their keeper was never really troubled.
