  1. Yeah but when it’s your fault, what do you do. He tried to play a formation we didn’t have the players to play. He had our right back marking the best striker in the league at a corner. It was horrible before the red card. The red card has given them an excuse in a way for the absolute collapse, but make no mistake even if we had 11 we was going to get pummled, we was awful. Kaminski and Lenihan pumping it up field like Gallagher was playing, Johnson running in custard, Nyambe all over the place, Buckley in the one position he can’t use any of his attributes.
  2. Yeah agreed not Buckleys fault tonight. Just like when we put Clarkson in that role at QPR, utterly pointless. Stick Nolan in the middle at least he can make a nuisance of himself.
  3. Agreed, but who else could of played? No one on that bench would of made a difference.
  4. When you compare it to United the other day after Liverpool, they all came out and apologised to fans, held hands up, I’m surprised it wasn’t the first thing Mowbray said. As mentioned earlier, those casual/lapsed fans aren’t coming Saturday for £15 after seeing that result.
  5. Downing just confirmed as much on sky, said he probably say nothing and analyse tomorrow. I get it to a certain extent, you lost 7-0, right after game what is there to be said? Our problem now is, we can’t make loss of changes due to our squad. Who’s plays CB Saturday? If it’s that Magloire then it’s curtains for us.
  6. Oh yeah I’d have no worries if Ayala was playing, but he wasn’t. Why on our first corner is the leagues top scorer who is lethal in the air not being marked by a centre back? I just can’t understand the logic there.
  7. Almost forgot this, but why on earth was Nyambe marking Mitrovic for the corner on 2nd goal. So baffling 15 mins into a game.
  8. That was horrific. Absolutely awful. Score line aside, when we was still in the game no one could pass a ball 5 yards. So many players didn’t turn up, and then the red card was game over. Just a few days before we try get fans back with cheap tickets and get humiliated like that, so damaging to the club. Worst performance I have seen in my life time.
  9. We was 2-0 up at half time and should of been far more. Second half from what i recall, nothing happened until about the 80th minute when they had a free kick Kaminski saved. I don’t remember a chance before that? Then they went gung-ho last 10, scored in 89th, and almost got an equaliser after that in stoppage time. That’s just football. When Liverpool was 4-0 up at half time against United but only scored 1 in second half I don’t think that is because Klopp said “stop attacking”.
  10. The Sheffield United game will be interesting at £14.60 a ticket. They have already sold out their allocation. Im intrigued to see how many extras we get. Hoping I’m wrong but I expect about 2k extra maximum. Because I still think it’s not a cost thing for most, it’s a success thing.
  11. To be fair to Mowbray he does leave the loans on the bench. Without the loanees our squad is way to thin, so they are vital. We are unlucky this year that they ain’t up to much. Would I prefer Butterworth coming on over Poveda, of course, but we are in a difficult situation where if we don’t play them we won’t get loans of their clubs again. It’s a difficult situation, and when a “Rovers player” like Butterworth gets a chance like at QPR, he needs to make a name for himself.
  12. As it stands in the league, the top 3 is as it should be. After that we only have above us Coventry (blew a 2-0 lead) Huddersfield (probably deserved to lose but 3-2) and Blackpool who we didn’t turn up against. We will win, we will waste leads, we will no show games (QPR) but so will the rest apart from top 3. So far, after an awful transfer window, I’d say we are doing alright. Not punching, because I not seen anything to suggest we are getting lucky, but we are doing alright. Just hope we don’t have a 17 game winless streak again.
  13. Exactly that. If we didn’t miss sitters we are 5-0 up at half time against a team that hasn’t lost at home. The only game this season where I felt we had no hope of getting anything was WBA, and even that finished 2-1. But the people you mention are the minority. They hate Mowbray and want him gone, and can’t see it any other way.
  14. I watched both halves I was there. You are right, we did sit back and was poor in second half but I think it was a reaction to Derby actually waking up. So yes we can criticise Mowbray for the 2nd half, but then we need to praise him for the first half, which ultimately won us the game.
  15. I can’t agree with this. Mowbray set out the team and tactics, that had we taken some chances that were absolute sitters, we would of been 5-0 up at half time. Derby was always going to react second half.
  16. That was Derby first home defeat of the season too, go on the Rovers!
  17. I like Gallagher. Should of scored 2 in first half but at least he is getting in the positions now. We really missed him defensively at the end when he went off and they were throwing balls in.
  18. Just got home, delighted with the win. Should have been 5-0 at half time. Expected a better Derby second half and we just about hung in there. Love the spirit of this team, when One of players gets chopped the whole team is surrounding the player. Brereton Diaz & Buckley stood out for me today.
  19. Really? 570 miles is round trip, so they had to get up few hours earlier, at least they get home earlier.
  20. Imagine that, go for few beers and watch your team win. Or sit at home refreshing Twitter and worrying about who’s contract is up next.
  21. The takeover of Newcastle is just another step towards some kind of super league. It’s going to happen in our life time, despite the back track that happened earlier this year. Some kind of NFL model is inevitable. It will be like how in USA they have the NFL as the main attraction but the EFL (college football) is where the fans go.
  22. I agree with you both, you both make good points. I feel the fans not attending because of Mowbray is in the lower hundreds. Then there is the ones that won’t attend because of Venkys. But my belief is the main reason fans don’t come is because they feel like we aren’t competing for anything. I don’t blame them, why fork out money to watch a team doing nothing. I’m sure every other team like us has the same. My original point was, social media is full of these fans that don’t want to go anymore and it’s them putting us down. Especially on here. You come on here to Celebrate a win and you got to get through all the “that’s another week for Mowbray” messages for people who don’t go to the game, and probably wouldn’t even if we changed a manager anyway.
  23. If Mowbray got sacked I don’t think it would make the slightest difference to our attendance. Any “fan” not attending because Mowbray is in charge would soon stay away again the second we lost a game. If Mowbray some how got us into the play offs, watch all those “fans” come out the woodwork for a play off semi final.
  24. That system is a joke anyway. They had it for the PGA at Wentworth. You can take a LFT yourself, and with that you upload your own result anyway. So if you want to say the test was negative, you can. Pointless.
