  1. Looks like the actions of someone still in position to me
  2. Gregg Broughton posted a welcome to Eustace on his linkedin, from which, I am guessing that he is definitely staying https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7161786303720763393/
  3. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/february/09/eustace-appointed-rovers-head-coach/
  4. The search for a successor is now underway and the club will provide no further comment until an appointment is announced. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/february/09/club-statement---jon-dahl-tomasson/ Its a good job the guys at the top at Rovers always make such good decisions or that might sound ominous!

  6. Photo of Ian Silvester typing the statement
  7. trying to win cup games over the past 1.5 years has been a novel experience after Mowbray
  8. JDT staying until Saturday evening to try a trial run of his new 1-2-7 formation
  9. I wasn't being entirely serious, even if Fowler would be a very Venky appointment
  10. Wonder no more, we cant
  11. Agree, Although I do fail to see how a clause had to be removed from a contract, rather than written into a contract.
  12. That sounds very Venkys 😞 Managerial career 2011–2012 Muangthong United 2019–2020 Brisbane Roar 2020–2021 East Bengal 2023 Al-Qadsiah
  13. Either that or they are currently waiting on a late truckload of NDAs
  14. That explains why they don't want to do it again 😉
  15. Nope https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Kean#:~:text=Kean left his position as,position had been "untenable". 3rd 😉
  16. One of the main criticisms of Neil by fans of clubs he has managed, has been an aversion to using or developing younger players, and Rovers have a squad full of them. Eustace was in 2nd place in the Championship when sacked Edit - Birmingham were 6th when Eustace was sacked
  17. Can we have a dislike button? Not to say Eustace is a brilliant appointment, but Neil would be awful 😉
  18. I did say it might be too much of a luxury, lol And just for clarity, my post was more to try and pigeonhole Siggys best role rather than to say how Rovers should use him
  19. He is probably best used in a similar way to how Bayern used to use Thomas Muller when he was younger, a free role coming inside from wide to find space. Which may be too much of a luxury for Rovers at the moment, but would help get the best out of Siggy, whose best moments have come when he has floated into space in the box late and got us a few goals
