  1. Vale joined Lincoln whilst injured, and was not fit until the middle or end of October, has since played a couple of games off the bench and impressed (check Lincolns forum, their fans really rate him), Vale started their last league game against Oxford (the 2nd placed team in the division) and was rested for the cup game (although did come off the bench) yesterday as he is still being nursed back to fitness after missing the best part of the past 3 months with injury. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-vale/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/496660/plus/0?saison=2023&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=
  2. Not sure if this has already been mentioned In possibly the most ironic transfer of all time, Rotherham have signed Daniel Ayala to help with their injury issues https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/2023/october/signing--millers-granted-permission-to-add-ayala-to-squad-list/
  3. I feel dirty after where I had to delve to find this, and its not great news either https://burnleyfootballclub.com/content/u21s-match-report-burnley-2-0-blackburn-rovers Does look like the dingles had half a team of overage players though, their goalkeeper, Obafemi, Churlinov, Massengo once upon a time cost Bristol City a few Mil, Egan-Riley was bought from Man City
  4. Gilsenan went off with a head injury in the first half, Ennis with Rovers 2 goals,
  5. Specifically pivot relates to the deepest lying midfielder/s, so either 1 or 2 midfielders in front of the defence either as sitting defensive midfielder/s or deep lying playmaker/s
  6. Looks like JRC was out for around a year (near enough the entirety of 2018) when he was about 18 years old. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joe-rankin-costello/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/411229/plus/0?saison=2017&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id= I would think that is a huge difference between that and Whitehall missing over 2 years (so far) when he will turn 22 in just a few months time. A real shame as he had huge promise
  7. Baker played an U21 pre season game, I think he did his ACL again within minutes of kick off https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23646871.blackburn-rovers-youngster-suffers-devastating-injury-blow-friendly/ Cirino, along with Saadi seems to have been told he can find a new club, Walker & Gent (now both out on loan) and Haddow (who seems to have forced his way back into the U21 fold) were also name checked in that article https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-rovers-transfer-loan-offers-27441269 Edit - Whitehall hasn't played since 2021 had his contract extended in the summer for what I am pretty sure is just to help his rehab and help him move on in his life/career https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/isaac-whitehall/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/541554/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id= Pratt (undisclosed injury) and Fyles (ACL injury suffered in early 2023) are also long term injured and Biniek has also been out for the past month https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/october/11/preview--rovers-under-21s-v-ogc-nice-under-21s/
  8. Rovers U18 game at Brockhall suspended (no other explanation given) Not sure if it kicked off https://www.google.com/search?q=blackburn+rovers+u18+v+stoke+city+u18&rlz=1C1RXQR_enGB1071GB1071&oq=bl&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqCAgBEEUYJxg7MgYIABBFGDsyCAgBEEUYJxg7MggIAhBFGCcYOzIJCAMQLhhDGIoFMgYIBBBFGEAyBggFEEUYPTIGCAYQRRg8MgYIBxBFGD3SAQgzMjUzajBqN6gCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#sie=m;/g/11l1_r7cm8;2;/g/11b6rh6xxp;dt;fp;1;;;
  9. They are now claiming that it is back up and running, although I still cant access it
  10. Gate receipts probably, according to this, we are 3rd bottom in the division, ahead of only QPR and Rotherham https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/championship/attendances
  11. At least they have acknowledged it
  12. yep, think they have forgotten to pay the website hosting bill?
  13. In fairness to Southampton's players. Martin is playing them out of position in a few cases, Adam Armstrong in central midfield, Charles who is a holding midfielder at centre back. Its like a 5 year old child is picking the team and wants to get all his favourite attacking players in the side at the expense of the "boring" defensive players Or maybe I am doing a disservice to 5 year old children?
  14. Apart from maybe Russell Martin He is seemingly trying to prove this season that you can take one of the most talented squads in the division, spend a load of money on it, and still get beat 5-0 on a weekend. Fingers crossed that the Dingles decide he is the perfect replacement for Kompany one day
  15. Szmodics would be my bet for midfield, Moran wide left
  16. Isn't he now 2nd choice behind Shaw since they sold the Brazilian (think it was Telles) Edit - now you have me replying to the wrong thread too, lol,
  17. The bold part is very likely by instruction, especially in playing out from the back, completely agree with the rest though
  18. Sounds about right, thanks for letting me know edit its back
  19. Did the stream go offline for everyone after we scored or just me?
  20. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/254866444?sc_cmp=ppc*GHS+-+Grocery+-+New*MPX_PMAX_All_OT_Top+Offers_Online+Budget_1009392**254866444*&gclid=CjwKCAjwloynBhBbEiwAGY25dDU972p1lUnPzL6x7p_YGNXpjOagq7oetmcgwPNwgKCMpVim7PFSuxoCk1gQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Best fizzy drink hands down is "Ting" You can thank me later
  21. They don't even have the best squad in London
  22. Oddest Saudi transfer so far has to be Max Power surely?
  23. Isn't Holgate in talks with Southampton? & its already been mentioned but Gray off to Fulham
  24. Millwall fans think Rowett starts every season with a back 5, trying to play out from the back with players who are not capable of doing so, and then after terrible starts to the season, he switches to a back 4 and goes more direct, when they then start to improve. They just cant see why he keeps going back to the same tactics each season and doesn't seem to learn I think last seasons change in formation and tactics was straight after our game against them at Ewood
  25. That genuinely looks like something from a dystopian future, I can only imagine that 95% of people living there will never get to leave or even breath fresh air. God knows what happens to that place if there is an earthquake. As you say, the whole idea seems mad
